Here is a thought, we have a contract/agreement to sign Doidge and a payment schedule that according to KA is agreed with FGR.

If we make the next payment and Doidge does not play who is in breach of contract ?

i can see KA suing FGR.

Not saying that is the right course of action, but imagine KA will do it if he thinks it makes his point.

It depends what is at the heart of the contract between the two parties.

Clearly the purchase of a players services from his existing contact in consideration for an agreed some is the meat of the contract (pun intended).

The legal questions will revolve around the agreed date of the payment and whether any change to it would invalidate the deal.

It seems to me from what's been said that the first payment was due on the 3rd January and a phone conversation between the two was made and a verbal agreement reached to change the date.  However Vince claims it was for just a day later (iirc?) and KA to the EFL payment date (16th Jan?).

I guess which one of them can prove who is telling the truth will win the case if it ever got as far as court.

I think KA will definitely make payment /attempt to make payment to FGR when the money comes in and put the ball in Vince court to deal with.

We might be seeing Doidge back with us after all?

Also in all of that silliness, where he tries to pretend everything is normal, no problem, no embargo, no issue at all - at no point does he acknowledge that Doidge and Matthews have gone. Players we had for the season have gone. He's not saying "we'll challenge it". He's not saying why they've gone....they've just gone.

We all know why - but he pretends it isn't happening.

Absolute comedy gold.

#yesweken

Yeovil's chairman isn't keen on the vegan hippy either. He reckons that Ecotricity's sponsorship deal of FGR is more than 5 times the going rate and is purely being used to circumvent FFP rules.

I absolutely love ken for saving the club and sorting out the terrible mess.

and for tackling iles and the trash he publishes and his promotion of those at the ‘supporters’ trust

However that latest note might have gone too far and just gives fuel to the bone heads across social media and the trust.

Well it seemed abundantly clear that the ST had been in contact with Vince in advance of his public comments about KA - why else would he be running a T-shirt promotion for them as a show of unity against Anderson?

It did occur to me if it were they who changed his mind from seemingly 'relaxed with the situation' to hooking Doidge back to FGR a day or so later - maybe they put a serious doubt in his mind that he might not get the first instalment of the deal which presumably he has budgeted into his running costs for the club for the remainder of the season perhaps?

It similar crossed my mind if the ST were behind the Baronesses letter too - why else would they randomly send it - maybe even the ST wrote it for them to sign if agreeable to it?

Obviously I'm only speculating but clearly there is a solid connection between Vinny and our beloved ST which predates his public views of KA and not something that came from them afterwards.

Do you not think you're giving the ST a bit too much credit? One minute they're a tiny group of useless blowhards who represent nobody and can't organise their own elections, the next they're the New World Order.

Can only see this “protest” causing more division

if you aren’t anti Ken then you must be with him. When in fact we’re not particularly either but just want someone, Ken or anyone else to get us out of the shit

The idea that a bloke worth nearly £150M reportedly would be swayed by our ST is laughable and clearly complete and utter nonsense.

You seem to be putting words in my mouth that I have not spoken.

Let me say a few of my own then.

Have the ST made public they want Anderson out - yes they have.

Has the ST publicly sent  copies of such letters to MP's to that effect - yes they have.

Has the ST contacted Vince - clearly they have.

It only takes one fanatical person to write and send a letter and pick up a phone and speak to someone in Gloucestershire - hardly an army - does it?

Anyway I never said the ST was behind things - just that it seemed very coincidental to me.

If someone told you something that made you think you might be losing a quarter of a million shortly wouldn't you do something even if you already had £150 million to your name?

I know I would.

Both those last two statements are true and not mutually exclusive. We are reliant on him selling the club. If he could do so without embarrassing us any further that would be nice.
