BWFC owed Blumarble £x after Ken agreed a settlement ED (RIP) lent Ken the money to pay the debt. Ken then lent that same money to the club, because it's the club's debt. So, unless Ken's made something out of the transactions, it's a non-story to me, but like I said, it's probably not that simple. Quote

Sluffy Posted October 5, 2018 Posted October 5, 2018 What I think has happened in simple terms is that Moonshift (Davies) has loaned Inner Circle (Anderson) £5 million, which in turn he's lent the club (Burnden Leisure) and secured the loan on the clubs assets, and the club as then paid BluMarble. Companies House only now catching up on the paperwork involved. If Anderson had simply paid BluMarble directly, or put the £5 million in the club as personal equity, then he simply risks the prospect of losing it without having any form of security if anything goes wrong in order to pay back Moonshift with. It seems to me it was simply common sense course of action to take as at the end of the day the BluMarble loan has in effect been replaced by the Moonshift loan and if BluMarble had to call in the debt, they to would have removed £5 million worth of assets from the club - and if Moonshift did have to call in the debt on Anderson in the future then an identical £5 million worth of club assets would have to be sacrificed to clear the debt. So in effect a six or two threes - ie the same thing. If Anderson did manage to keep things ticking over and get the club to such a stage that it could redeem Anderson's loan (and he in turn pay off Eddie) then he's made a £5 million profit, by paying off a major creditor (initially BluMarble/ now Moonshift). If he can't then he cashes in £5 million of club assets to pay off Moonshift - which is what he would have to had done to pay off BluMarble - or in otherwords be in the same position as before. So I can't really get my head around what all the fuss has been about? It all seems straight forward and logical to me. In fact Traf has basically said the same thing whilst I've been typing this - apart from the Moonshift loan is directly to Anderson, so it isn't exactly the clubs debt - but it all more or less amounts to the same thing anyway. Mounts Kipper Posted October 5, 2018 Posted October 5, 2018 I’m still not 100% comfortable with KA. And still can’t get my head round the fact Eddie Davies ain’t Eddie Davies. Quote

Indeed. Its a non story unless Iles knows Ken is profiting on the interest. Which wouldn't make sense in his position. The winding up orders however, they are getting tedious. Quote
waffer cup 07 Posted October 5, 2018 Posted October 5, 2018 Strange Iies hasn't run a story on this in BN. Has our Ken scared him off. Quote

Boby Brno Posted October 5, 2018 Posted October 5, 2018 The information he said he needed before writing about was the second petition from Front Row Marketing. The HMRC one is there for all to see. Quote
