What's his favourite biscuit?

Why do we leave two men back on corners?

Can we et buttered hot dogs?

Why do we let the away team attack their fans end in the second half?

How does he come to the conclusion that we can get big crowds, whilst being a club that can only realistically achieve survival in this league.

Presumably his argument is that expecting any more than survival whilst averaging 17th highest crowds in the division is unrealistic. That for our fanbase and resources we are overachieving. I think we are. EDs money skewed perception for a decade and people haven’t got over it.

Why should it be unrealistic? We were promoted to the Premier League in 1994/95 and 1996/97 on similar crowds to what we get now and Eddie Davies wasn't at the club.
During that era clubs including Wolves, Middlesbrough, Man City, Sunderland, Birmingham, Derby, Stoke, Norwich West Brom, Sheffield Utd and Ipswich were in the division with their bigger crowds and bigger transfer budgets.
we were  successful because we were better managed on our smaller resources than most of those clubs

Bet shorthand iles et al will be devastated about this.

if king ken is holding a q and a he will be ready with the answers and all this companies house drawing conclusions will be put to bed.

Do I need to draw a picture to show why football and the relative gap in spending is entirely different now compared to the mid nineties?

In the LOV he basically said he paid hmrc late as it was either that or blu marble.

He said the other one was another deal arranged by Deano and his strategy is leave it til the wire and negotiate.

Also we've had 90 tyre kickers express interest in the club. Currently talking to a yank and someone from the middle East.

Crack on Ken.

Oh and he had a dig at Marc Iles even though Iles was a foot away recording it on his phone.

If he was only a foot away he just have just kicked him in the cock.

Burnley promoted 3 seasons ago, Huddersfield promoted 2 seasons ago.
If other small town northern clubs can be well managed and gain promotion to the PL,  Bolton can

Burnley had three cracks at the premiership and came down with strong championship sides each time.

Huddersfield did very well. But because one team defies the odds every few years doesn’t mean you can expect it to be you. Both Burnley and Huddersfield had relatively higher transfer expenditure and wages compared to the leagues they competed in than us.

I really don’t get this animosity towards Iles. I don’t know him personally but he has a job to do like the rest of us. I’m not aware of anything that he has said that is untrue.

He is a reporter for our local newspaper that is older than the club. Frank Booth and Gordon Sharrock had it easy compared to the stuff Marc Iles has had to report without the criticism he has had put to up with from the owner.

I thinks its because some folk perceive that he’s anti KA and that he shouldn’t report negative factual stories about KA.

Well my view on it :

1) he's not a Bolton fan. He's from Coventry or wherever. That's not necessarily a given in this day and age but it would help.

2) because of 1) he revels in the clubs shit news because it "sells". If he was a Bolton fan he might sit on stuff a bit longer, get some facts, get an opinion from the club before going out with a story.

2.5) he decided to paint his daughters bedroom the day we nearly went to the wall.

He's a journo not a wanderers fan. Remember that.

The questions thrown at Ken in reflections about crowds and style of play are a joke.

he is a business man, with no direct emotion to the club.

reducing prices to £20 adults and £10 kids like someone said, will not fill the ground.  When we play the likes of villa and Leeds they will sell out whatever the cost, so why reduce the costs as we certainly won't add c4k onto the home gate,

also, we have not got the money / investment to spend on big players who maybe can play a better style of play.  With what we can afford, you get what we have - surely.  Do we really expect  much better than just staying up again, with the issues and players that we have ?

ken is here to run a business, if he wasn't involved we may not have a club - so let's get in the real world.

Replace Coventry for Cheltenham and I could have written that myself.

Spot on, Sinead.

I don’t rate him at his job so don’t get the love in.

he loves the club failing etc. Releasing the story on the day of eddies funeral this week shows he is a grade a cunt and shows the Bolton news is just another shit rag.

He's just shit basically
