radcliffe white Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 Correct if ken doesn’t know our fan base then that’s sloppy and tbh it’s not hard to work out Quote

It won't happen Quote

But equally the extra income from those tickets might bring in one or two better players in the meantime. Having an owner who could buy a couple of players would make us more attractive too. Or an owner that pays people on time. Not happening though. Nor is his 20k waffle. He/we should move on to making it better for those of us that do go! Quote

The same for other clubs too. Quote

If Bolton want to compete with clubs in this league they need more fans prepared to pay decent ticket prices. Our average attendance last season was 17th in the division. Yet our fans seem to think we should be competing top end of the league. I think some realism or some more prepared to dip into their pockets is required. We had years and years being sheltered from reality thanks to Eddie's millions. I doubt there's a single person who honestly believes we should be competing at the top end of the league. Our attendance last year, as zico pointed out, was a reflection of what went on on the pitch. That's simply how it is. Ken's pointed out previously about the importance of living within our means which I would agree with. Therefore our means will need to reflect the crowd size. No point him bleating about it, unless a miraculous new investor is found. Gradual improvement in squad and results is happening, even though the stuff on offer isn't great. So long as that continues and the club grows, albeit slowly then that's all he can really expect. Most fans will accept that as it seems an honest way of doing things. Quote

Any two of the four games for something as little as £30 could work, but it still needs a certain amount of buy-in from the fans. Quote
Zico Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 I think Leeds will go up but I'd much rather they implode, again Quote
Tonge moor green jacket Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 Bit early to judge this. Don't know the arrangement before Eddie's sad passing, nor what his family have requested since. Will wait and see until further information comes out. Quote
gonzo Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 Seriously though what a day for Marc Iles to publish the story. On the day of the fucking funeral ffs Quote

We'll be able to properly judge Kenneth once he leaves, let's hope he leaves with a large wedge in his pocket as a result of a sale to some Billionaire.......as opposed to him leaving with a large wedge in his pocket and us in administration/insolvency Quote
Walkden White Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 We're certainly going to be top of the winding up petition league table Quote
Casino Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 Out of interest It seems so long as we clear the outstanding amount before the case is heard, these orders go away I'm guessing we must incur costs? Quote
jmjhb Posted October 4, 2018 Posted October 4, 2018 Are we sure that is actually the parent company? Quote
