Negativity prior to game with squad and team announcement would have doubled with a poor result/performance, just what these young lads don’t need. And with only one game left before final squad announcement, Southgate doesn’t have any more games to experiment. They’re not going to win the World Cup, but they’re showing promise and confidence to play good football like the young squads last summer. Quote
Didledee Posted March 23, 2018 Posted March 23, 2018 Vardy didn't touch the ball when he came on and Alli was sloppy but before the subs England were brilliant, passing from the back, Pickford excellent, Stones great tackles and Maguires ball control and surging runs were great to see, everyone played well, just needed to improve our crossing, great encouraging signs. You can why Holland failed to qualify, only Depay looked like he had anything about him on tonights viewing. Quote
