Who is "they"?

Great question

Folk frustrated all over the shop on twitter, FB, here etc are pitching blame at "them", but I'm not sure who exactly they're aiming their ire at

Interested to know the reasons why Basran pulled out he seemed the person who can get the backers with money

Don't know how true but I heard he was never really in after failing to buy it from Ken - he was leading that bid. But after that broke down his investors moved on....

I think his family are minted, not sure if Parminder is.

Basran finally removed from then

The new company is owned by FOOTBALL VENTURES (WHITES) LIMITED, of which both Brittan and Basran own between 25 & 50% each.

Basran is just not a director of the new company.

All the above subject to change of course.

Really don’t get the love in for any single one of those shit houses from last season.

People on twitter wishing that Polak all the best. He was the biggest shit house of all last season. Gave up halfway through, went on strike and then asked to leave at the first chance he could.

Fair enough then, generally though he was completely out of the picture from what others have said & with him not being on companies house

He stuck it out longer than the club's owner then

Nixon saying Brockbank is back in training at the club.

Hopefully a good sign.

Just beat me to it, be delighted if we kept him looked a decent player.

It doesn't confirm anything really, other than FV want/need to have two separate legal entities, one for the hotel, one for the club, and that Basran isn't currently directly involved with the decision making for either. It does however suggest that things are progressing, so hopefully an end is in sight.

he could just be a money man (shareholder). and just because he is not a director does not mean he doesnt get a very valid say in proceedings

Not sure that's absolutely correct.

Seems to me that FV is the umbrella company for the hotel and club in just the same way that Burnden Leisure was.

FV has two shares, one owned by Brittan and the other by Basran who is also still a Director of FV.

Basran may not have any dealings with day to day issues at the club and Hotel but he will have a major strategic control on their direction and future developments through his joint ownership and directorship of FV, who in turn own the club and hotel.

Up to him how big an influence he wishes to be whilst he remains in that position of authority/power.

Like you say though, it does indicate things seem to be progressing.
