It does however suggest that things are progressing, so hopefully an end is in sight.

Seems to me that FV is the umbrella company for the hotel and club in just the same way that Burnden Leisure was. FV has two shares, one owned by Brittan and the other by Basran who is also still a Director of FV. Basran may not have any dealings with day to day issues at the club and Hotel but he will have a major strategic control on their direction and future developments through his joint ownership and directorship of FV, who in turn own the club and hotel. Up to him how big an influence he wishes to be whilst he remains in that position of authority/power. Like you say though, it does indicate things seem to be progressing.
