Great opportunity for them! I think our situation would feel a hell of a lot worse if we were postponing matches like Bury Does anyone really want us to start postponing games? If nothing changes then yes. Quote

Also Gillingham and Accrington have 1 point from 2 games. OK our goal difference is -7, like Southend, who have no points from 3 games. This is a good point. Just keep in touch , then we'll be OK until it sorts. After that, who knows ? The "bringing the game into disripute" stuff can piss off into hans segers's dog's overseas bank account. Quote

FrancisFogarty Posted August 18, 2019 Posted August 18, 2019 I wonder how many of the no club club are thinking 'I could do a job at Bolton'. They're not getting paid now, they might as well not get paid for us. (All hypothetical I know). Quote

MickyD Posted August 20, 2019 Posted August 20, 2019 Better still, I've known folk book a lunchtime meal at the hotel, park in hotel car park for free and leave after game. Quote

I've heard of people booking a room, printing off the confirmation and then cancelling. They then pitch up at the car park waving said confirmation for free parking. As a travel agent, I obviously can't condone such actions, but if you did want to do it, I recommend booking.com for such activity. Otherwise never use that site, as they're never cheaper than me 😉 Quote
