Nah, fook it, I'll take my chances, I'm slim and healthy with no underlying medical conditions. No pub, theatre, football ground, etc., etc., for you then. Sorry, but I think you should have to show proof vaccination to enter such venues. Cue dodgy line in false certificates Quote

Yep, and how many have been very poorly, will need long term rehab, and how many operations etc would have been delayed without these measures. How many more medical staff would have succumbed without them? Not measurable. Quote

Another fag pack maths way of looking at it 50k covid deaths 75k excess deaths 25k people have died because of covid without catching it For every 2 covid deaths, 1 other person dies, probably because they can't to get hospital Need to get them cases down Quote

Either way, even if they didn't, need to reduce any risk to them Quote

I find it rather flippant to do so. Quote

Perhaps that's why all are being offered the vaccine. Quote

Perhaps that's why all are being offered the vaccine. That's the situation we are in.. Nurses were adamant the family member had it earlier in year.. right symptoms after effects etc. This time, still positive and still able to pass it in but no raging temp or cough, just trouble breathing and extremely high heart rate. Positive for 5 days before symptoms too. People who have the vaccine will still get it, still pass it on, it just wont be as severe. Quote

No idea of post beginning of September but there’s a fair bit of press about release of figures then https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/news.sky.com/story/amp/male-suicides-at-highest-rate-in-two-decades-official-data-shows-12060928 One would not imagine it’s gone down since. And a lot of mental struggles brought on by the recent tiered limitations, lockdowns, affected social and business/job issues will be felt to come for years. Anecdotally, I have a friend who committed covid related suicide this summer and know a few folk through work that are suffering terribly with mental health ATM, miles more than I’ve ever known before Quote
MancWanderer Posted November 21, 2020 Posted November 21, 2020 I’ve still got a few questions about it all if you’ve had Covid does the vaccine offer you anything, can you still carry it and transmit it, and can you catch it again via a mutation of the strain? Also, if you’ve had it, should you be tested for antibodies before you have the vaccine or could it possibly be a waste if your antibody levels are high? Quote
