Exactly

They havent got a clue

hes building up to proper lockdown. maybe being cleverer than you giving him credit for. Do you think we have the means/consensus to confine whole population indoors yet? couple of weeks he might not need to tell folk

The emails pinging in from my place tell you all you need to know:

"Are we coming in or not?"

"I drive to work, am I ok to come in?"

"Factory open or what?"

On reflection, that announcement was bollocks.

Would you recommend it. Asking for a friend

I would, but ask your Maude, she ordered one a few weeks ago. I think she keeps it under the stairs, in the half built sauna 😉

And Corbyns response to it is spot on. It’s the right thing to do but details desperately needed about what businesses should or shouldn’t open....

What's the benefit of staying open if you're not providing essential services. Doesnt the 80% up to £2.5k wage cover off staff wages?

Ask those in other countries when you’re exercising in the park if we are on lockdown and see what they say! 😂

I mentioned yesterday policing this way would be a better option than policing a full lock down and allow people to go out and do exercise.

You’re comparing it to where they are now, whereas you should be looking at what the conditions were when the initial lockdown started. I’m sure that in Spain (probably Italy too) travel to work was allowed, but has only more recently been restricted.

It is zbsolute bollocks

Ive had 6 messages already asking what it means for us

What it means is that we are a non essential business, with cutomers who seem unaware what is going on in the world

So we remain open

And you can travel to work because essential travel, which specifically allows for travel to work that cant be done at home, is allowed

That will clearly be defined as essential but I expect even they will be toning down their interactions greatly.

They break for Easter on Thursday, so expect a few more private jets taking to the skies at the weekend.
