I see the point you are making.

These are the psychological stages of dealing with grief and loss:

1. Denial and isolation; 2. Anger; 3. Bargaining; 4. Depression; 5. Acceptance.

Are we witnessing this here now?

Well i was angry this afternoon and now im depressed so very possibly a quick cycle through.

i will be back in denial tomorrow don’t worry. My head can’t cope with shit like this I will be a rollercoaster til it ends.

Just now, Mr Grey said:

Just a model and he can't prove it as he doesnt have the facts and the majority of us hsve not been tested.

I think they ran 5 models with different controls, the Financial times have reported one of them. I've not read it yet but i'll have a go. If it has infected half the population why didn't we get cases requiring ICU in Jan, has it only infected vulnerable people in March? The genome has  been available since Jan 8th so it could have been identified. Doesnt sound right to me. Hope it is though, we'll be watching wanderers again in a fortnight.

I’m not saying some folk may not have had it but to suggest that 45mil have had this and we’ve a few hundred dead? Sorry not for me that one as much as I would like to believe it.

They are simply not building all the extra ad hoc “hospitals” because we’ve all had this. It’s going to absolutely terrorize us at some point it’s just about flattening that curve and reducing the spikes.

sorry to sound negative I really hope I’m way off the mark

A response to a couple of your points

The Ad hoc hospitals aren’t just being built because of volume but also for purposes of separation.

I believe the peak in countries ahead of us has been consistent in being 3 weeks post schools closing; this has been the common link. That puts it at about next week or the week after is it?

I don’t disagree about the separation it’s the sheer scale of those things that worry me. Also saw a video inside the excel center one today I think it was. One end to the other was a km!! And it had 2 morgues in it. That’s pretty scary

and peak I also have in about 10/14 days and by peak I mean this peak as I now think there will be numerous peaks across the year

Thing is, many are taking No 1 as an either/or. Half are isolating, half are denying anything is happening.

It’s 2 we need to worry about. Seen seeds of it tonight

if you wish to understand its simplicity, then consider someone who has been diagnosed with a terminal illness and then look at the stage and how they’ve come to terms with it
