If it has to be then the concept of us signing players on anything other than £500 per week is gone. I'm with you Mick: wasnt too bothered before but having compensated Brentford, a gesture in our direction would be appreciated.
Lt. Aldo Raine
I'm happy to just let it go. What's done is done and I'd rather be out of pocket than the club have to divert funds away from other areas. Obviously, it's probably different for those who were in hospitality or had match mascot paackages etc.

BOWTUN BAKED
So they've sorted out Forest Green & the swampy twat Dale Vince. Now they've sorted out Brentford fans? All good PR I suppose & definitely didn't have too. Let's see what they do for us! Just a bit odd to sort out others before your own? jeep
They can keep my money from Brentford, their need is greater than mine. I doubt I'll bother with Donny, home midweek games are shite......

Dont you often quote how real match day revenue is around £6 or £7 quid. Surely can’t have it both ways?

Now that fv have made the gesture though, a bit of something wouldn't go amiss. As for wages; they're already dramatically lower than they would have been and will continue to be so. If we can't manage, why pay off other clubs? It's been discussed elsewhere that while the club is hampered massively on transfer fees and wages, money must surely become available to invest in other areas. If not, we're fucked. Legally you paid for a season of games, you got a season of games, it just happened to be 22 rather than 23 games. (Just like every other club in our division after the demise of Bury - not sure how many, if any, have refunded their fans). If you want to feel better, yours (and mine) money from the Brentford game was offset by those who cancelled their DD, getting the Villa game whilst not paying for it. However, I wouldn't be surprised if those shouting loudest for refunds were not the same ones who cancelled their DD.
