When they did up ritzy in mid 90s I had some mates who were doing the lifting for it.. said they'd brought in specially chosen couches to stop all the shagging on them.. not sure how successful they were

I don’t get genders in award ceremonies it’s not like they have an advantage because they’re males. It’s not sport.

Sports personality of the year is not separated though. Not that many women win it.

Separate categories in acting, TV etc. Never been an issue until recently- just mind fuck now.

I don’t mean awards. I mean you don’t have men competing against women in sport because of genetic differences. Films and music it’s a level playing field, why does it need separate categories

They probably started off as gender neutral but blokes kept winning so they split it up 

We're meant to be progressing, not regressing  

Give it a few years and they'll be moaning about the lack of diversity like they did at the Oscars with the blacks and Leonardo DiCaprio never winning anything 

Then handing them out as token gestures 

Moonlight was average, and the revenant was far from his best performance 

That said, i don't watch the Brits anymore or know who anyone is or if there any good anymore 

But someone will moan about something else soon enough
