My radio journey started with Radio 1. I officially listened for the last time in around the year 2008 (might be earlier), but Mark and Lard were the dogs bollocks for a long time but then I switched the dial to Radio6 and Absolute.

Steve Wright in the Afternoon back in the late 80's was something i would religiously listen to, think he was the first person to introduce "characters" to mainstream radio and I even built up a labouriously edited tape collection of the better ones. (Eeeeaaaasssyyyy Life)

If I'm in the car and not listening to podcasts or my own tunes, I'll generally stick to Radio 6, can't be fucked with the sport talk type channels as they can spin out a conversation regarding Ronaldo for a week and not draw breath, exceptionally dull.

Shocker that 6 have let Shaun Keaveney go, absolutely no need.

Used to listen to Jimmy Wagg (WOW?) on GMR with my mum every sunday years back.

I still listen to Christian O Connell even though his show is now in Melbourne.

It's just there, t'radio. Love it I do.

Who do we all listen to?

(Crawley will be Radio 4, I'd wager)

I listen to LBC sometimes, usually if i am in the car in a morning. Then change to Virgin in the afternoon.

Can't say I have ever listened to R6, what do they play?

Radio6 plays a right old mix of stuff away from the mainstream/charts.

Marc Riley does a great show at 7pm every night and plays the weird, wonderful and some utter shit. You just won't hear it on Radio 1/2 etc..

I've had a go at LBC but just find some of them a bit pompous. I'm already pompous enough, don't need to hear it from others.

I always have Classic FM playing in my office as a background, I find too much talking and singing interrupts my concentration... like a heart surgeon operating to Chopin or Mozart 😉

Car in the morning is also Classic FM then its my iPod with all sorts of crap

Radio 6 music but it can throw some real weird ones on but overall great for discovering new music

Absolute radio with Christian o Connell was superb, don’t mind it now with Dave Berry but the music is shite on it. Coldplay and biffs Clyro fm.

Dont like Andy Bush on it in the afternoon unfunny cock.

Radio 4/Radio 6 for me. Although I do switch over to Radio 2 at 10:30 every weekday morning for Pop Master with Ken Bruce. Straight back again after it's finished though.

I used to reset all the work cars so every radio preset was either Classic FM or R3.

Picked my daughter’s boyfriend’s car up following it’s MOT. All his presets are now R3

I have Talksport on as background noise while I work, but with the repetition of their adverts over and over again and Jim White talking shit it often leaves me on the verge of committing mass murder so I'll boycott it for a few days.  I'll then go back to it and the cycle begins again.

In the car I just have spotify on unless there's a foote match on and I'll listen to whichever channel is covering it.

Long gone are the days where I'll listen to the radio for music.

Most of the new music I listen to these days is because of radio 6. Some artists will catch my ear and then when you listen to them on SPotify it recommends similar stuff. As I have no cool friends anymore, this is most useful

In the days of Radio 2 the mobile phones used to go mad when the Wichita Linesman came on... it became our company song and the phones and sites were full of joiners and brickies singing along... it became part of the interview process if you wanted to join up... the interview consisted d of "Can you work a Hilti Gun? Do you know the words to Wichita Linesman?"

The moment I no longer objected to Radio Manchester being the station of choice in the office was the moment I realised I'm not as young as I once was.

Tend to have Absolute on in the car (or Amazon Music via Bluetooth)

Radio 1 till ten as I like Greg James and cant stand adverts in the morning.

Talksport for the rest of the day although Jim White has had me flicking to radio x.

Love H&J/Rushden. Its just calming noise.

Radio 2, smooth and Absolute 80s and 90s.  Mainly listen to my own stuff and recommendations through Spotify on my drive into Manchester.  Added bonus of it charging my phone up too.

My own music first thing, James O'Brien on LBC at 10, Jeremy Vine R2 at 12, Drive on Talksport from 4.

As much of a wind up merchant Adrian Durham is, I'm actually gutted he's only doing 1 day a week on Drive now. He knows how to reel people in and tangle them up in webs which made for great listening at times.

Durham didn’t have Bergkamp in the top 5 Dutch players to have played in the PL. I’d volley him into a Volcano

Journey started with Radio Luxembourg and John Peel on R1 back in the day

R2 is on permanently in the kitchen. In the car tends to be R6 or Radio Manc if Sweeney is on. Occasionally Absolute but they are bit repetitive with their playlists
