One of Jimmy Cricket’s iconic trademarks is his wellies having L & R on them so he knows which is left and which is right. Could Not in Crawley confirm (or deny) his daughter having C&A on her knickers?

They were from Next apparently.

Genie-us.

Not a gaylord one.

Kind of based on Tony Montana.

And Leslie Dennis has shagged dead-eyed but fit bodied Amanda Holden. Must be doing sommat right.

I'm shallower than a puddle on Churchgate so the fact she's probably horrible I would overlook.

Fifteen Bums and a Piano.

Get the 'classic' Napalm Death together to soundtrack it, a pipe dream maybe but here's some Napalm Death...

Sorry for those who went to panto in Swindon; anyway, cheap tickets for Robin Hood (£8 each), Manchester is hammered so shite build up. Will let you know how good it is. Nuts and pre mix cans agogo

I’d give it a go btw folks- good chemistry between Nickless and Manford- the scripted unscripted gags on point, and a few I think maybe first night errors. £7.95 for 2 hrs pls well worth being bent over in the bar.

My panto story started when I was 7 and my uncle paid through his works for the Christmas pantomime and a toy…. Sadly it always landed on FA cup third round day, soon as I got to 11 this ungrateful bugger told uncle I didn’t want to go again so i was free for FA Cup 3rd round…. Pantomimes a pile of shit compared to FA cup 3rd round day back in the 70s.

Sadly, something the youth of today will not experience 😂

Never been to, nor fancied Panto.

Each to their own of course.

I’m not shocked tbh fella- as you say, each to their own. I was the same until I went with my little uns.
Summat about kids belly laughing at innuendos they shouldn’t get, seeing families just switching phones off for a few carefree hours, going for a mooch before and after (albeit not this week), a bit of a singalong if it tickles your fancy.

I admit yesterday was last minute and just me and the missus (she loves Jason Manford), but still thoroughly enjoyed it.
Try it- you can always leave

Seen dozens of Panto's over the years, pretty much always at Preston Guild Hall. First started when I was a kid, as the social club at my dad's work organised a massive group booking of tickets on a particular night. Then with my own kids, as my works social club organised a mass group booking of tickets on a particular night. They're basically just a bit of daft fun for kids, with a bit of blue that goes over the kids' heads for the mums and dads - usually involving some minor celebrities off the telly, like someone off Emmerdale, or Jimmy Cricket. The mass booking always meant the company employees would get a shoutout during the performance, and much to their credit the company would pay for all the employees kids to get a gift and a selection box at the end of the show. A proper working class British tradition in my eyes.
