Site Supporter FrancisFogarty Posted April 3, 2022 Site Supporter Share Posted April 3, 2022 Fair play to any Pomps who come up. It's a fucking long way for a dead rubber. Win to us. 3 - 1 (0 - 1 HT)
Johnnyrotten
We're 11 points off the play offs. Let's get 2 home wins this week against teams above us and see what we can get that down to, and at the same time let them both know we're a force to be reckoned with. There's always something to play for, sort of.

Burndens Bogs
Pompey haven’t scored a goal in their last 3 games and only achieved 2 points from the last 9 available- that’s killed any play-off hopes they might have had. 3-

Traf
The current top 8 is the cut off for play-offs IMO.

Not really looking that far ahead, just thought there might be a modicum of interest if we win these 2 tough home games especially as the last 4 are winnable. We probably won't win these 2, but it shouldn't stop us trying, and if we do, and a couple of others drop points, we'll all be looking at the table again. Just to be clear, I don't think we can make it! Just no harm in putting some meaning on games, which for us is to keep the season mathematically alive for as long as possible. None of our fans should feel disappointed, it’s been a great season & we’re progressing as a club. Always stacks up according to GD at this stage, looks like Oxford could make play offs at Sunderland's expense. We're about 6-8 goals off the pace, the effect of not taking enough advantage of set pieces such as corners? I always maintained I wanted us to be in touch with the play offs at Easter. Started my summer early now although I might watch tonight.
