Two tier.. Maybe multi tier. Meanwhile, SAS veterans and the like are still be persecuted by the very people they joined up and fought to protect. Quote
Popular Post kent_white Posted June 29, 2025 Popular Post Posted June 29, 2025 I also find it a bit weird that people are seemingly more outraged by these chants than by the tens of thousands of dead Palestinian children. You might need to re-evaluate your life choices if you did yourself in that group. Quote

And I bet you had no idea who this person was before today. And now you do. So you've fallen right into their little trap. If you want to articulate why I'm wrong - I'm more than happy for you to set me straight. I won't be able to reply to you for a couple of hours mind. Just remember that there will probably be at least another couple of dead Palestinian children by that point too. So make sure you make it convincing! 👍 Quote

Popular Post Jol_BWFC Posted June 29, 2025 Popular Post Posted June 29, 2025 Is there any reason we can’t all agree Hamas are cunts, the IDF tactics in Gaza are horrific and wrong, Kneecap and Bob Vylan should be investigated by the police (and punished accordingly), those pricks who admitted vandalising the plane at Brize Norton should be locked up, that all grooming gangs should be marched into a volcano and that James McClean is an odious wanker? It doesn’t make you a pro-Palestinian anti-Semite leftie or a right-wing thicko racist or Roy Walker to say what you see. Quote

Second point everyone knows what’s happening in Palestine, it’s horrendous, but we all know these things happen when there’s a war on. We can go back to my previous points about other conflicts going on now. Other groups seem to be ok with kids being murdered in other country’s but not in Palestine? If you think 1000s of people chanting “death to the IDF” at a festival that prides itself on peace is normal then so be it. The majority don’t I bet you’ve posted more today about Glastonbury then you have “border line Genocide” so how are you actually worrying about it? Quote

peelyfeet Posted June 29, 2025 Posted June 29, 2025 According to unicef, The IDF have killed 14,500 Palestinian kids, made 17,000 orphans/separated from parents and blown the limbs off thousands more. 14,000 are suffering malnutrition now and 600,000 haven't got access to enough water. New born babies are dying at a high rate. The Israelis blocked humanitarian aid for 10 weeks and the international press is banned from entering Gaza. Calling for their death at a concert isn't going to do much to change this but if what unicef says is accurate there's going to be increasing calls for war crime trials. Quote

I think it's a question of what's reasonable and justified. The Palestinian death toll is 10 times larger than Israeli since 1948. How much more "defending" are they justified in carrying out? Quote

To be fair, you were suggesting there was a difference in legality depending on whether the incitement is acted/in the process of being acted upon, which there isn't Quote
