  1. Quite. Boris was fucking God on here, he was wanked over by the likes of Bolty and others. He was a disaster for the conservative party, he destroyed it from within. A good small c conservative party has been my political leaning most of my life but Brexit, Austerity and the Boris clusterfuck proved their real motives.

  3. I think Cogley is an absolutely committed professional and grafter. I also think if we have a fully fit right back then he's on the bench.

  4. A total hypocrite. I saw one of his tweets banging on about 9 arrests and more to follow, hijacked flags blah, blah, blah. Then one about the wonderful Notting Hill carnival; all its glory, colour etc. Not a single comment about hundreds of arrests. Not a single comment about arrests made of counter protestors as far as I can see neither. Just ratchets up the tension another notch. Nobbers the lot of them.

  5. The Old Gold wankers Wolves......Kenny Hibbitt in the 70s, Steve Bull in the 80s, SJM in the 90s, the play off semi final, Elmander......isn't it? Wasn't it? Marvellous!! Grudging respect on and off the pitch and to be fair had a few good drinks down there due to Fernys connections.

  7. The very essence of what has gone wrong. Just like Brexit, it isn't a left-right issue. Just had to look at voting patterns, and listen to people to understand that. Thrust too many, too quickly, into "red wall" areas and they will inevitably react. But they're all far right, racist thugs as we know. Chickens are coming home to roost now.

  9. I sincerely hope that it does. I like Andy Burnham. I quite liked Graham Stringer. He did his best but Burnham has done a lot more for Manc I have no affiliation to a particular party. I voted LibDem last time. I accepted Labour’s win but expressed reservations on here at the time that Starmer wasn’t the man for the job. I’m even more certain now The first MP I ever voted for was Doug Hoyle when I lived in Warrington back in the 80s. Burnham somehow reminds me of him Yes, it’s a big step from mayor to PM as history has recently proved. But he’s not a big blustering idiot so he has a chance imo Labour need to act quickly. Starmer’s ‘walking the mile’ to the chair and no matter what folk think about the validity of yesterday’s protest, or the numbers, it’s a big signal about his failings. Add in Mandelson, Raynor, Reeves and you can see, if not agree with, why folk are drifting towards the frog-faced cunt Farage which would be a disaster On the plus side, a Northerner in the hot seat ‘could’ be a massive benefit to us filthy oiks outside the Home Counties. On the negative side, a fucking Everton fan anywhere near power is utterly horrific to think about

  10. What? Do you mean we cant just turn the boats away back to France? Oh, and when will the penny finally drop that immigration in this country is 96% legal and has nothing to do with small boats?

  11. It's not without merit but it's that idea that people's issues with immigration can be solved without addressing their issues with immigration again It's similar to the mistake the Remain campaign made during the EU referendum

  12. After the last three limp-wristed, deer in headlights, half assed, cowardly home displays against this lot, it'll be a nice change for us to have a pair of bollocks on the pitch. He plays for me. You can be sure they'll be looking to kick feck out of ADC.

  13. I think they need to. Starmer is a decent man but has been pilloried unfairly imo by the right wing press (expected of course) but more so by the terminally thick who only know politics via social media. It's like the global financial crash, then austerity, Brexit, covid, Ukraine never happened. Both sides too, the left want to spend more that we don't have and the right less, fucking over those who have been fucked over for ever. Yet snake oil salesmen seem to win the poor man's vote again and again.

  20. Gives away pointless free kicks.....Still plays as a wingback and gets caught time and time out of position His passing is shocking and when he gets the ball is only thought is to pass back.....His pace gets him out of trouble but like Johnson not good enough for a team seeking promotion.

  26. I Was fortunate enough to be in his company numerous times. He really was one of the lads. He was always on The Jolly Boys Xmas doos, which I’m sure a few on here would have attended. There would always be a queue by his table for fans wanting pictures and autographs. When the strippers came out you would here him say, “come back in 20 mins lads my dance is here” he would then have his dance, have tits rubbed in his face for 20 mins and then carry on having photos 😂 Absolute shit news, a top boxer who brought me some of my best nights watching boxing. R.I.P.

  27. Ive had a torrid last 3 weeks or so. I could feel it coming and tried everything to stop it but fuck me I ended up on my arse. I could barely get myself out of the house. Just a feeling of being worthless and useless .Starting jobs and not finishing them. Making every excuse going to not do even the most mundane of tasks. Been a cunt with the Mrs a few time and that then brings on guilt and sadness and compounds the issues. Did a massive bike ride yesterday over near the trough of Bowland in the pissing rain ,wind and hail . I had to drag myself out of bed to go as it had been booked for months I didn't want to let a mate down.My head fell off on the last big climb if i had been alone im not sure i would have come home. I ended up pissing my sides with my mate on the side of a fell in the middle of a hail storm. Few pints after and I have woke up today like the last few weeks have never happened. We are a fucking weird species. Look after yourselves lads

  31. I found step one didnt work with my chub rub, even the sports one. Kula are very good and the seams are in decent places. You can also try either lanacane anti friction. I'm using one called MEGABABE atm and its really good and doesn't make a mess. Also, when you go to bed wear loose shorts without the sewn in part and put either germoline or sudocrem on the affected areas. If it's lower down you can wrap kinesthetic tape around the area to prevent it from rubbing.

  35. He’s just not playing well. I can’t understand why you’re not allowed to say that? Not all of our players are all great at the same time. Cogley came in initially as a back up right wing back. He ended up first choice and I thought did really well. Up until the middle of last season I thought he was still playing relatively well and deserved his place. I actually thought he’d do even better as a right back in a back 4 because he wasn’t good enough to play the whole right wing on his own and would benefit from playing with a winger in front of him. Back end of last season he was really poor, but weren’t they all. This season he’s worse. I’m not sure whether he’s out of form, no good as a right back as @ianofcleveleys reckons, or whether it’s a bit of MJ Williams factor of the rest of the team getting better and he’s being shown up as the weak link now. Whatever it is, it surprises me that people are watching the games this season not thinking he’s been a bit shite. Things break down with him, teams target him, he doesn’t support ACD well, he’s positionally suspect, the fouls he gives away are fucking infuriating. We brought Christie in last day of the window, Tutu has played right back ahead of him on multiple occasions and our centre mid was put there for the last half an hour on Saturday instead of him - I’d say they all point to the fact that SS isn’t too happy with him either. Anyway, my view is he’s played really poorly this season and once Christie is fit he should be replacing him. Others might think he’s playing just fine. All opinions

  36. Add to this giving the ball away constantly. First half yesterday he gave the ball away on at least 5 separate occasions whilst under little pressure, basic stuff. Same with Johnston, he can’t manage to head the ball to a white shirt, it’s either anywhere or out for a throw

  37. Numerous weak tackles, needless fouls, passes backwards when he had an opportunity to go forward, and poor crosses. His biggest asset is he never gets injured, but if we have a better option (and I think Christie will be better on e up to speed) we'd be silly not to swap to him

  43. Thanks buddy. I think so. I lost my best customer recently through no fault of my own and to be honest I miss going, not just the financial aspect but I had been going to do work there for the last 15 years 2 or 3 times a week. I miss the staff and the craic . I think that was the start of things going wrong again. When it starts it just spirals. Just got to ride it out.

  44. Depends if someone has the balls to do it. France uses its vessels to escort the boats into our waters, so what is the difference? French officials have openly said they want the UK to make it more difficult to get in, to act as a deterrent, so they would be happy with this action. Wouldn't they?

  45. If it was a bigger stretch of water, you would also need a greater number of ariel assets scanning the sea. Shipping is also used as a means of notifying authorities of the presence of migrant boats. In some cases it is a legal requirement, though I don't know the details. It follows therefore, that the more ships there are, the more the chance of them being reported.

  48. We’re talking about two different things here aren’t we? Tracking the wide runner is largely on Burstow. Not Gale (wasn’t on the pitch) and not Cogley. If you’re talking about picking up players in the box. Then they are all culpable, including the coaches as this silly high line has them all on the hop not being in positions to defend properly. Harsh to just isolate Cogley. Theres two things that happen, Burstow then TSL, before you even look in the middle.
