When you've crowds full of retards at darts and football matches singing you're a wanker you know the jobs fucked. I've mentioned it before there was a genuinely a Dad on my kids football group blaming Kier Starmer for the league announcing a silent weekend to promote better parents behaviour. Every Migrant that attacks a young girl it's Starmers Britain despite the complete migration shit show he took over. You've got turkeys voting for Xmas sat in council estate pubs across the land blamin their pints going up in price on Kier Starmer and Boat folk. When it's those who Reform will hit first. It's all one big mess.

I’m pro-Burnham. I think that overall he has been very good for Manchester. As for Starmer, he has actually done a better job than has been made out, but the comms from the party have been dreadful and he personally has less charisma/personality than John Major had. And as for Reform, they've only really got one policy and it's a policy that's already destined to fail, but sounds good in theory. Wasn't Brexit supposed to help towards this goal? Wasn't it a main Tory policy that failed and now all the Tory ministers who failed to implement it are at Reform?

Check back, I always said Boris was a great writer, good entertainment. But a fucking woeful politician. Farage is a wonderful influencer, he is a very capable public speaker. But what he says just happens to be 90% cowshit. Starmer is dull as shit. Never going to make legend status. Workmanlike, poor communicator but genuine grafter. 2 years is probably the best any PM can hope for in this day and age so he’s hit that target. He’s reduced net migration, ironically. Balance is possible 😊
  4. Meanwhile, the child molester who runs the largest economy on earth has to tell his voters what the sea is.

Reform don’t really help that image when they have to sack their candidates within 48 hours of election for suggesting Nigerians should be melted down to fill potholes, or that pakis should be shot. Just for balance, like.

God help us when Starmer gets potted, yes he’s crap but what’s behind and alongside him on the benches is another level of shit…. Buckle up and strap in.
  7. On a positive note, he not only struck it well but it reached the goal without bouncing

I might be in a gang of one here, but I couldn't give a shit if the PM has charisma. Johnson had charisma and look what a shit show that turned out to be I'd just like them to get on with the job in the background, but no. the media won't allow that. The media of this country is largely right leaning and they've had it in for Starmer since day one. If he goes his replacement will get the exact same treatment, charisma or not. Arsenal tickets? Cue hysteria Undeclared £5 million personal donation? Fuck all The British public are being played and as Cheese has said before they deserve the shitstorm that is coming their way and it will be fucking hilarious to watch it unfold. Fuck em.

Quite. Anybody who thinks Streeting will even last until the next election, or that Nige wouldn't be facing calls to resign within minutes of being PM is being daft. This is it now. PM's in on a rotational basis because having someone run the country for four years and then voting on whether they've done a good job is boring. And it doesn't get clicks, comments and people listening to podcasts. Which isn't a defence of Starmer, but nobody can seriously believe this is a sensible way forward.

The Winter Fuel Allowance thing has always been nonsense. They briefly made it Means Tested, and only reversed that because of misunderstood outrage spread by the usual suspects. From the way it was and is reported, you'd think they'd scrapped it altogether. And that is still one of the only things people point to when they try to explain why they hate Starmer so passionately. The only other thing I've managed to discern is the daft Mandelson appointment, which had fuck all effect on anyone in the grand scheme of things.

I’d have been more surprised if there hadn’t been interest for Amario than the fact that there is. He doesn’t seem the type to have his head turned though and I’d expect him to strongly consider staying at Brighton and continuing to learn his trade for another season with probably a loan in the Championship prior to a step up after that either with Brighton in the PL or a similar level elsewhere. If we can get promoted I’d think there’s every chance that year in the Championship could be with us.

If reform got in tomorrow, the same thing would happen. We now exist in a time of hyper-scrutiny. If reform policy is indeed to go back to a “better time” then maybe just having battles across the front pages of newspapers is part of their manifesto. we’re beyond the rubicon at this point in terms of analysis. Same with football, 5 minute VAR reviews when most observers are ok with the refs decision. Bottom line, Labour could install Jesus Christ as leader and half of Twitter would be seething and calling him a lefty wetwipe because he fed the poor when they should be feeding themselves.

Correct. He's a slimy cunt who should never have been appointed. Although he hasn't been accused of raping kids, like the other 2 people you mention.

Starmer has been better than the last 3/4 prime ministers I’ll let you all decide where the bar needs to be set for that.
  21. And he's not done his reputation any harm for the next batch of championship etc jobs that come up in 6 months. Or, Northern Ireland don't have a competitive match for another 10 months, he probably fancies a few holidays and essentially a part time job on decent wages.
  22. Not sure Bristol City is a great move for him. Reckon other jobs will open up over the summer/early part of next season
  23. Kathoeys R Us 😁
  24. Not a big surprise really. He managed to keep them up, saw that the likelihood of being able to get cash for better players was slim to none and went back to the NI job. Even wangled a pay rise to go back. No duck egg that lad. Roverrrs fans are pissed off! 🤣
  25. Blackburn looking for a manager now!!
  26. They could cut out the middleman, give him a million or two, and let him stay at Lincoln 😀. Has all the hallmarks of another championship pre-Christmas sacking when they aren't top 6, with Bristol fans saying he's out of his depth, and they need a proven championship manager. Lincoln will realise he's available, and will sack his replacement in January and he'll come back to keep them up. Or something like that.

To be fair because of the media's coverage of the endless Tory party contests most people think every party is run the same way. Goes back the hill I will die on that basic political education of how our country is run should be taught in year 7 and 8 included in PSE.

    No threshold has been met
  31. ACD has 2 years left on his contract, so if Brighton were thinking of selling him, they woudn't bother trying to extend it. We've no chance of being able to afford to sign him anyway but if we do go up there might be a chance of another season's loan.....I don't think he's premier level yet & he does seem to be happy here. The problem could be if Brighton qualify for Europe & want to use squad players.

The "threshold" everyone is talking about only applies if they all agree to nominate the same challenger. As it stands, there isn't a single challenger to get behind.
  33. Had a chat with him and Forino on the train heading into London after the Cardiff away game He doesn't say much but as you say, I'd put that down to him just being shy and not anything to do with me! Forino was very chatty and a nice bloke

And........... 103 backbenchers and PPSs have signed a statement saying this is ‘no time for a leadership contest’. The statement was organised by group of backbenchers, many from the 2024 intake. So far, the number exceeds those calling for him to quit - organisers say it’s rising.

And yet folk voted for Brexit.
  36. There aren't many downsides to potentially doubling his wages and getting a longer contract. Obviously someone else might offer a better one, but unlikely I'd have thought, not like he's proved himself above L1.
  37. He went on loan to Rovers last season. He was nicknamed NEP, no end product. He's not ready for the Premiership. If we go up he could stay.
  38. He's quite a shy lad. Think going to another country where English isn't the first language could hamper his progress in my opinion.
  39. Thousands arrested in 12 months tells us both that many aren’t. You may not be sick of it, many are, which no doubt is one of the reasons the “world is just watching”. We have plenty of our own shit to deal with already, stupid protests over a conflict that will never end 1000s of miles away is the last thing needed over here. You need to delete some of those Thai lady boy apps off your phone and stick a couple of news ones on 😉

If we do vote Reform in, then we deserve what's coming. Like BREXIT, I'm sure it'll be viewed in decades to come as another calamitous action of self harm. I'd hate to be one of the "poor" under Reform, as they'll be well and truly fucked over, of that I think there is little doubt
  41. I agree there’s bad on both sides. This has all come from “the world does nothing” comment. The majority of the world clearly aren’t to bothered
  42. Philliskirk was a great penalty taker but he had at least one saved.
  43. It's odd to me that someone would support the actions of Israel because they don't like the folk protesting against the actions of Israel

We are the only team to win at home out of 5, and only 1 other team has even scored at home. Hopefully away teams continue to prosper this week.
  47. I can’t see him doing that for 2 reasons. 1 - we were definitely more solid with 3 in midfield so I’d be surprised if he went the other way for the away leg 2 - if Dalby starts, he’s not doing 90 minutes and if you’ve got Burstow on from the start then your replacements are limited. It’ll be the same team for me, with Dalby on earlier than Saturday.
