  1. This is my old lad , he is on what I reckon will be his last big adventure ( although I've said this before). He is still full of beans but his body is slowing him down and he is not the lad he was. I still love the mad fucker though.
  2. I was fine this morning until my sister messaged me… 9 years now. Wish the stubborn red cunt listed to me when he first fell- would’ve got a few more years out of him. This is a place to say thank you to your dad for any random shit; Thank you for taking me to Cleveleys Kitchen, the horrors of trad Irish music, not judging me when I was ill and unstable. Thank you for being the most doting grandfather- leaving memories they will cherish forever. Tears streaming again now!
  3. I am very similar I never remember his birthday or the anniversary of his death whereas my sister often posts on Facebook on these days. But I did think about him stood at Wembley watching the team walk round, as he was disabled he struggled to get about so probably would not have been there but still wished he was . He had a leg amputated when I was about 10 ten and my mum died 2 or 3 years later, he bought 3 of us up. Must have been so tough but we never knew.
  4. Is that for people who don’t have kids?

We've ended up with completely dead rubber games because the group stage rankings are being done on head to head rather than goal difference. For example, USA v Turkey has no impact as US can't not win the group and Turkey can't not finish last even if they get a big win. They've absolutely killed the group stage excitement.
  6. Fuck me what a way to get killed, 3 completely evil men murdering another evil man. Imagine living any of those lives.
  7. My condition has worsened over the past 18 months, I now cannot walk and have lost the use of my right arm and hand, no more bird houses to be made, in constant pain and I know depression is creeping in, I am at Salford Royal for 2 days a month for a 4 hour infusion, this is for the foreseeable future. Same as others I have a very large drink (Vodka and lemonade) every night which means I get about 4 -5 hours sleep. I have had adaptations made in the house which again is depressing, (the grandkids love the stairlift), my only pleasure now is Monday Club (pitch and toss night) and Thursday club when we put the world to rights, 3 pints is my limit because there is no disabled toilet in my local. I keep my season ticket but this coming season I have to go pitchside because I cannot get up the few steps to where my daughter and kids sit, I have had to stop going away matches as I hate being a burden to anyone. i will talk to someone eventually, just not ready yet.

Class moment that from Emma Hayes and tribute to her father. Whilst the crosses tactics board didn't work, it's a shame she got so much abuse.

Feel like I only come on here to grumble lately, and this isn't a moan about world cup. Instead it's how much I hate VAR. Probably the most interesting goal I've seen for years has been chalked off. Football is being killed by those running it.
  10. They’ll be licking their lips at the thought of playing us…. They don’t like us to this day… bloody lovely, bring it on!
  11. I blame the Muslim grooming gangs on Muslims targeting young white girls and the social services and police force that stood by and let it happen because they were scared to stoke racial tensions and it was easier to blame the victims and turn and blind eye. I blame the rise in sexual assaults by Afghan men on the establishment allowing thousands of men to arrive and live here with completely different values and views on young women. A situation completely avoidable. I blame the attacks on Jewish folk on pro Palestinian nut jobs talking aim at people that have no part to play in anything in the middle east. I blame folk rioting and setting fire to hotels to house on an immigration issue that's been left to spiral out of control. All believing a narrative that all the issues we face in life is down to immigration and such like. The latter was always going to be a product of what's been allowed to happen. Muslims were allowed to rape girls on an industrial scale. That's not fed bullshit. That's fact. Absolute fact. Just because there's other societal issues does not detract from that situation. There's problems with social services and lack or funding and bad practice that lead to Baby P and the Poor Blackpool kid. But that's another situation entirely. Who else can anyone blame but those in charge of the country?
  12. It was their intellectual zenith 😁
  13. Lost my old man ,when I was 21 he was 44 . I thought he was old,it was only as I got older and had my own kids that I realised how young he was and how much of life lay before him. He never knew me as a real adult ,we never got to share adult experiences , I never got to chew the fat with him or go to him for the advice that only a dad could give .He never got to see me or my sister become parents and he never got to meet any of his 4 grand kids .I dont really miss him because it feels almost like I never had him and apart from the night he passed the memories are fading . I just wish he could have been around a bit longer
  14. Aye always miss him but never get maudlin. He lasted 90 years, lived through WW2 but dementia got him in the end He was the one that got me fully invested in BWFC
  15. Ignoring your point here, 'all your fed'. From that gullible twat and all the guff he swallows from the corrupted BBC News service, ITV and other woke institutions. Firthicko is certainly at the top of his particular tree. Fucking gobshite.
  16. A quick look through the very thread you are commenting on will make you realise you’re speaking total shite. Again.
  17. Not in Blackpool
  18. Can't agree there pal. I know a few Wolves lads. Anyone over the age of 40 have us up there with West Brom as most hated team. We inflicted a lot of damage to them. From them getting twatted all over Burnden Park during their probably darkest hours getting beat by Chorley over a few ties in the cup to beating them in the cup a few years later during their uprising. Then we beat them 5-1, season after we do them in the play offs after McGinlays wee push. Two seasons later we do them twice with all the antics with SJM and lofty. SJM with a brace their and a goal at home after his keeepy uppies before the game and subsequent 22 man brawl. Few seasons later we stop them getting in the play offs beating them on that Friday night with Gardner bagging. Then we pretty much send them down with an SKD masterclass. They fucking hate us
  19. Aye. Mine is still alive. Had tea with her today to remember my dad She’s 89 and still a force of nature. When my dad was alive she was the one who picked him up off the floor, dealt with his dementia, and ordered everyone around. Soon as he died her mobility went to ratshit and her post-polio syndrome kicked in. Sad to see That said, she still has all her faculties and is more than happy to put current and ex WWays posters in their place when they visit 😁
  20. aye, I'm enjoying watching 4 lots of highlights each day, but haven't actually looked at a group table so not 100% sure what is going on in each group as they head into the final games i have though enjoyed most the games and grounds, Toronto being my favourite there'll also be a decent amount of knock out football which is when I'll either watch full games or go from 12 mins to 30 mins highlights
  21. My nanna held our family together for so long, like you say a glue that would hold fast. When she left us it also went to shite. We've tried to get the old team together but half of them just can't be arsed.
  22. Was only saying today I wouldnt be at all surprised if in tournaments to come (especially if we go to 64) the groups were replaced by a league table where not everyone plays eachother, as we now have in the Champions League. Currently I'm watching it, not overly disliking it, but not finding it essential either as I have done in the past. I'm also finding it very hard to remember off the top of my head who is in each group and even who some teams played in their first game. I want international tournaments to be a break and a rare treat away from club football, but I dont need 5 weeks of it 😃
  23. A tail of 2 dogs in our house at the moment, the puppy, an 8 month old Lancashire Heeler won her class at a dog show today and qualified for next years Cruft's, our 12 year old Boston Terrier is deteriorating fast, she has bladder can er and it has now spread into her lungs leaving her virtually unable to breathe, looks like the worst outcome for her the next few days
  24. Gary O'Neill in at Ipswich.
  25. God I miss my mum. She was a fucking mental fucker but christ she glued the family together. All went to shit when she died.
  26. Bloody hell. This. Word for word. In the summer I can do 5 days commute on one charge so literally costs me about £4.50 for the full week rather than the £30 it cost in petrol. Big chunk of savings that pays towards the car loan each month.
  27. Take care R, let me know if you’re ever struggling for a lift up to the hospital or owt pal
  28. Don't think we are ever that far apart on this stuff to be fair mate. There's a balance. I'm not gonna riot, I'm certainly not gonna vote reform. But when you have folk saying we are being fed bullshit and misinformation when there's real life serious issues going on, that's where the angst starts. Wankers will hijack any issue they can. On both sides. But that's what happens when things are left to spiral out of control.
  29. Kin ell Athy hope you know we are all here for you big man. You know that x
  30. Me. He passed about 6 months ago. Lived abroad but managed to see him before the end.

I remember that Weghorst scoring one similar for Holland in last world cup, kind of catches your breath for a minute seeing something really unusual happen in a game like that!
  32. Reminds me of a podcast I was listening to a year or two ago, had a Wolves fan on it saying Bolton Wanderers ruined the 90s for us. Get in 😂
  33. Could be a very risky move though a'la the referendum vote, where Cameron, fresh from 'victory' in the Scottish independence vote, gambled the country's future to shut down his party's Euro sceptics. Labour were elected to serve a full term. I'd prefer they see it through and expose Reform and their ilk at every turn. The consequences of gambling and losing as Cameron did, could be more catastrophic than Brexit has been.
  34. I thought that was a bear until I enlarged the image 😃
  35. I'm glad to still have the old boy about. Posts like this make me realise it won't be forever. Took him out for breakfast this morning and it's the healthiest he's been in ages. No beer allowed today as he's got a renal exam tomorrow. If his kidney score gets any lower he will be back on a ward.
  36. it had to perform a search first though to find out
  37. hopefully the Blackpool gays will get sent to Wakefield Manchester Evening NewsCCTV shows trio of murderers laughing before storming chi...Mark Fellows, David Taylor and Lee Newell murdered Kyle Bevan at HMP Wakefield
  38. Replaced by another cunt.
  39. I was responding to a post that ignored the opposite. Each problem needs addressing individually. There's a problem with Afghanistan blokes sexually assaulting women right now. There's also a massive shit show in social services thanks to cuts and austerity that leads to cased like the poor baby in Blackpool. Not everything is under the same umbrella. It's only those who chose to downplay certain issues with certain demographics that want to lump it all together.
  40. Can’t wait to play them… gonna be feisty!
  41. What else do you think has caused it? We've had Jews attacked, Muslims attacking folk, Afghan blokes raping folk, now we are seeing Muslims attacked and racist attacks. Who do you blame for all this level of polarised hatred?

    Yep ridiculous
  43. The point is that it's not a case of US support being a result of politicians being bought by billionaires There are a host of reasons before getting to that, primarily the ones about the national interest
  44. The bloke in the video (the content creator) is Dave Columbo. DVDColumbo on Insta I'm not on Insta but apparently he is very highly recommended to follow. I think his clip is not only brilliant but highly accurate in what he states.
  45. We've missed out on Alfie May yet again. Gone to Doncaster on a season-long loan from Huddersfield. Billy Sharp should be available now then.
  46. A rare breed that poses very little threat
  47. Trump has ended up having his arse handed to him by the Iranians. He’s fucking pathetic
  48. Since her stroke last year I’m scared to death of being out of it in case something happens again. I can’t risk it. You only get one chance to not balls it up.
