Fucking superb signing, even though I'd never heard of him till this morning.

It's not trying to be clever after the event either. It's right in your face clear as day decisions. We've got 4 identical like for like wingers. We've taken 2 injury prone full backs and a defender who's not played all season. We've just started a knock out world cup game with Djed Spence at right back who can barely get a game for 17th placed spurs and we finished the game with Declan Rice there. Meanwhile We've got a right back playing for Real Madrid, a bang in form Lewis Hall and even Luke Shaw sat at home. Harry Maguire is better than Guhei and Konsa. Cole Palmer has more talent in his bing willy than Madauke. Absolute barmy decisions.
  3. All those Dostoevsky-length posts, and you didn't know what the fuck you were talking about from the start. 🤦‍♂️
  4. Funny this. @DLH you’ve got some patience, fair play. @Sluffy please feel free to use that multi-quote function to highlight how many times you declared yourself to be completely proven right - it might be your longest post yet.

  7. I'd look again.... And maybe read the below.... So the mystical black hole is the £20m creditor and the £7m negative equity... The £20m increases the equity in the business, so what would actually happen is that if the shares had been allocated the Equity position would have moved from £7m negative to positive £13m .... We happy now?
  8. FWIW, I don't think they'd have budgeted a £14.3m loss, we'd have budgeted to make at least the playoffs so additional revenue missed from that, and I'll hazard a guess we didn't plan to sack the management team. Lets say that's a loss of revenue of and cost of about £1.5m (wild guess) but you'd be looking at a loss of £12.5-£13m assuming that, its probably wrong, as I have absolutely no idea what the plans were. In terms of the below; This "provision" are you talking about the £20m creditor for shares? That's the only figure near £20m mentioned in the accounts. Which isn't a provision... its a genuine creditor at the balance sheet date. Only provisions for cost I can see (and I've not wasted hours looking in detail) are £1.1m of accruals. Per the notes, the Equity position of the business is in essence understated by £20m at the year end due to the issues with the allocation of shares. If you want a truer reflection of liabilities and equity - reduce the creditors due within one year by £20,150,000 and increase the share premium account by the same amount - it'll be there or there abouts in terms of a truer Equity position of the business. As for the additional £9m of shares acquired on the 1st August (which again I think you are including in the black hole), you'd need to see the budget.... may well have been planned, may link into the calendar of bonuses paid by Trafigura, I have no idea. The only black hole I can see is anyone with any knowledge needed to make a true judgement on the health or not of the financial statements.
  9. They aren't. Believe me, they aren't.
  10. If Glasner fell out with Parish, there's no chance he's not falling out with Forest's dickhead owner Disaster waiting to happen

Like he said to himself give the fucking thing to me this is how you do it. I hope I never see Djed Spence ever again, especially at full back. That right hand side was like watching Conway and Gale. Saka and James just have to be fit for Mexico.

All the big players turning up this tournament. You can moan about the performance all you want but these lads (Messi, Mbappe, Kane, Haaland) are the difference makers.
  13. Utterly classless
  14. Yes, we'll be absolutely fine.

Our centre midfield is fucking dross. Zero ambition. Get Bellingham in there at least he has something about him going foward with those driving runs
  16. So that's Wrexham's fixtures, what about everyone else.

  24. Agent 1: I reckon we can fleece BWFC, I’ve heard they’re being taken over by billionaires Agent 2: Give me a minute, I’ve a username on Bolton’s best forum Wanderers Ways I’ll be able suss out what the story is with their finances… Agent 2: (two days later…) I’ve not a fucking clue, it’s been taken over by Sluffy the vampire slayer, I’ve fallen asleep a few times trying to work out what the crack is…
  25. Was touch and go to be fair
  26. And it'll be on the manager, the defenders he's taken are beyond stupid
  27. best golden boot race ever btw
  28. Rashford just has no end product
  29. Gordon sorted that wide left position for the next game at least
  30. Said it a million times. There is no room for rice and bellers. Let bellers do it all, he's capable. Rice is running in treacle. Get a fucking striker on the pitch ffs. Iceland all over this

  33. They're both shit, they're all shit
  34. The lad at Hull seems to be a carbon copy of Ben Davies and has been in and around lge1/Championship for a good few years. Conways playing time next season seems limited. The forward from France seems a roll of the dice and could be anything, we could get 10m for him next season or he could flop......These are the gambles the club needs and if he can get Kenny in on the last day i will be more than happy with the way the club is heading.
  35. So what you saying then
  36. The names I heard last week are starting to pop up on Twitter now, so I believe Ibrahima Balde a striker from the French 2nd league and Akin Famewo a left back/centre back from Hull are done apparently. I know absolutely nothing about either of them.

Without getting ahead of ourselves, before we hopefully put DR Congo to bed tonight, Mexico, in the Azteca will be a massive test for England and Tuchel. His interview yesterday, and a mantra which he, and subsequently the media and fans, have pedalled this World Cup, is that the better the opposition, and the more a team will have a go at us, the better this England side will be. If that’s the case, this will be his true test, because Mexico won’t sit back and frustrate in Mexico City. Lose either of these next two games, Tuchel and England will have failed. But a convincing win tonight and a victory at the Azteca will have the other two big guns in our half of the draw worried. Come on England, let’s turn it up a notch now and show the rest of the world what we are all about. 👏
  38. You've just been added to my Christmas card list.

  40. Not much of that post is true to be honest mate, and we still have lane rental for works on highways . Some of it could be , ie paid no matter how long on site perhaps, but paid an agreed fee with penalties and responsibility for overrun so it’s not in the interests to be on site and to get the job done . Very few day rates now , price per meter / km on replacement work and badger like fuck if you hit an obstacle that prevents your daily targets . Risk averse, yes, but that’s a good thing, days of dig deep, throw well back and fuck the consequences so long as the pipes in are well gone .
  41. Careful, the Slufftwaffe will be carpet bombing you with info before you know it. "For you Cramp, ze war of words is over. Cooler!"
  42. I don’t need a simplistic view of how budgets work, I’ve been a qualified accountant for over 20 years. Neither am I confusing cash flow and solvency. What I am saying is while yes there maybe a £14.3m loss, is that expected or not? If the original budget was to make that level of loss then all is fine, the FV and BLMM people will have oversight of the budgets and know the funding requirements. If not then things went wrong, by how much we’ll never know because we’ll never know the budgets they set. Is it a concerning amount, I’d say given we spent money after this, probably not, but again we will never know. Financial Statements give a snapshot of a position in time, different industries and different sectors have key ratios that may give some idea of financial health, what those are in football I don’t know, but losses and negative p&l reserves are, I would guess, common in the sector. Auditors do a lot more than check you have cash for going concern. You need to evidence budgets for anywhere between 1 to 5 years to evidence you think you can continue to operate. I would hazard a guess for FVW Ltd they’ll want some evidence of funding commitments too.
  43. Could be related to when the club want the transfer cash to appear on the books, if they do it before tomorrow doesn’t it go onto last years numbers. Meaning that when the full years numbers come out we'll look better for last year than you might expect, which could be part of them preparing/ touting us for external investment/ takeover. Just a guess.
  44. Don't need to go that far, just 20 miles out into the North Sea, of the coast of Inverness, in February, that should do the trick
  45. don't get killing any animal because you deem it a pest foxes are pests cats can be too where do you draw the line?
  46. I've not paid much attention to these new Squad Cost Rules but taking a brief look, basing any sort of relative cap on revenue generated seems to be similar to me to the issues I've always had with the existing PSR rules in that it just protects the status quo for the big boys that either already have huge revenue streams or their owners can artificially generate them through sponsorships and money moving amongst their different entities. Any cap like that, whilst I understand the desire to protect clubs from rogue ownership, only ever seems to limit competition in my eyes.
  47. It's not political, it's just a statement that we show respect to everyone regardless of their gender, sexuality, ethnicity , religion , age , disability . I see nothing wrong with that , I applaud it .
