Harsh. Speculation only means his agent is throwing out bits to the media, nothing more. 

He’ll have offers from plenty of clubs and, as mentioned, there’ll be buyout figures in there designed to protect him and the club. We’ll get bids for him at the end of the season. You can choose not to believe that, or see it as rewarding failure, but a Welsh international who’s played at the top end of league one for 2 years AND been voted into team of the season by his colleagues, will attract clubs.

It’s not just them involved  we gave some football stats data driven company shares in the club . Can’t remember what they are called but if we’re tied into them with transfers that’s another level of shit a new manger would have to navigate

That was pretty awful.Sloppy passing all over the park , not withstanding enabling them to get back in the game.The subs were catastrophic ruining any flow we had which wasn’t great but at least we had possession of the ball.Evatt went on about countering them in the last quarter by bringing on ‘more physical/ bigger ‘players .Really? Why not try to get a second goal against ten men?

His post match interview was desperate & excuses inplausible . Looks like a guy who hasn’t got the wherewithal to get this  team promoted unfortunately.

There will be clubs that will have noticed his international performances and seen someone who can hold his own against better than L1 level opposition if in the right system and with better players around him

Think our summer recruitment needs careful analysis, not one of them appears to be an improvement on who they have replaced. 

Soon as they went down to 10, I had a feeling they would up their game. 

But we can whinge and moan all we like, when you have 8 players in their back quarter, and you can't get round their defenders, you're going to struggle to win.

I just listened to Evatt and Johnston's interviews. They mentioned that it's a tough place to go and that they're big and physical and their fans rallied behind them.

Cambridge United. 22nd in League One. Less than 5,000 supporters. 10 men for an entire half. And we want to be playing in the Championship? That is the funniest joke I have heard.

Absolutely calamity and joke of a mentality. When the players and manager think with this mindset then it's no surprise why it's 5 years later and we're still playing at places like Cambridge and suffering.

We will get absolutely nowhere if radical change doesn't happen.

We could do it. He just chooses not to. This had nothing to do with formations. This one's on the players for losing two points. 

 

I find it very hard to believe Randell Williams would get in many League One sides playing as a winger. Osei-Tutu, so far as I can see, has 0 league goals and 1 assist in knocking on five years.

If those are your options for width, you're fucked if you need width.

You couldn't ask for an easier away game to win. For Evatt to be coming out saying we controlled it until the last 10 mins speaks volumes about how deluded he is (as we were poor pretty much throughout), and also how he can't affect a game. It's obvious against 10 men they will play for set pieces. We had 30 mins to change shape, stretch them and get another goal before that. Or keep men up field in that last 10 mins for counter attacks.

He's just out of his depth and needs moving on.
