So we shouldn't judge him on goals or assists or tackling 2 needless yellows for the same stupid tackles in 2 games. Don't get me wrong he gives it his all he's just not good enough in that position.

For 10 years with SKD we proved that you dont need a 20 goal a season striker to be successful , but you do need the midfield to chip in with roughly 10 each .

How long after the game do they put the full 90 on to watch again?

Not sure i can be arsed getting up or staying up for it tonight

So thinking get up in the morning and watch again

But not if it's not on again till a day later

Taking away the reality of the situation. You (fans and players) have to believe today that the top 2 is still on and winning today (and ideally one/both of Lincoln/Cardiff losing) takes us closer to this improbable success.

If we lose today and Cardiff/Lincoln win then  then these words are hollow.

But if it plays out as above there will be more than just me come 5 o clock today who will start again having these conversations, looking up the table with hope rather than down the table with despair.

COYWM - give us something to cling onto.

Who is better then?

I’ve stuck a tenner on us with exactly that hope (although a little surprised that we weren’t odds on)

done it a couple of times (and coincidentally, will have to for today's game).

Work on the basis that it's 24 hours later, but think it was earlier one of the times.

Have to get the wife to keep checking so I don't accidentally see the score first.

Can't wait 24 hours

Was hoping to get up Sunday morning and watch at around 9am here / 11pm uk

Hard to predict today’s starting 11. The only thing guaranteed is that this side and any other alternative will not have an agreed consensus.

The hardest selection I had was dropping Dempsey when he was MOTM last week and I like him and what he brings.

In this set up it’s a toss up between him and Sheehan. But listening to SS and how/when he picks Sheehan I think this might be a game that suits him and there’s good protection next to him with Ethan.

Like others, I agree that more goal scoring threats are required hence Kenny up there with Dalby.

A large element of trust in the experience this season of that back 4 keeping it right - but I understand that might be seen as a gamble.

I will however continue to place trust in SS and him making the correct, informed decisions on selection.

Which is why if that side has a multitude of changes and he adopts something different like a 5 at the back, he’ll be doing this with more knowledge, experience and information than I or any of us have.

Yep. Was about to post the same, and maybe Christie for Tutu, but otherwise agree with Desperado's line up.

Biggest one for me is bringing back Conway. He's been one of the best left backs in the league so needs to come back in if back to full fitness.

Big game for Gale to prove himself if he's got the chance over Blackett Taylor through injury

I've only ever purchased game by game and usually only early kick offs, never thought about watching it a day after, might look at that if there's ever a performance/result that justifies it

Burstow deserves a start ahead of Kenny.

Rather 5 at the back away from home.

He probably does but he's making an impact off the bench and it's good to have something like that off the bench.

There's also an argument that Kenny needs more starts to show what he can do

Only my opinion, but I'd say his tackling is better than any midfielder this season or recent seasons (EE is decent but can be clumsy/give free kicks away), he's got more pace than any other midfielder, he's the only one with a consistent drive to get forward and shoot - what a breath of fresh air in this shot-shy squad.

He's the best at heading a ball offensively and defensively in the midfield by some distance, his corners are the best we have, with Christie (not sure why we've only discovered that this season), he shoots with both feet (great left footed finish at Luton, difficult to remember another midfielder scoring with his wrong foot), he can beat a man with skill, he can pass quickly long and short (eg assist for Gale from 30 yards).  Brave, great attitude.  If he lacks quality, I'm not sure who he's being compared to.

As close to an all round midfielder as we'll get in L1.

If he can do all that. Why doesn’t he do it very often?

I like him, I think he has good attributes, but I just don’t think he’s capable of putting it all together regularly

God I’m jealous. Have a great day you bastards.

Re Demps; pretty sure he’s isn’t #1 in the ‘vital stats’,  but he doesn’t stop and he’s up there where it counts. Will throw a good corner in, will score a few, gets stuck in. All rounder

Has Demps been learning to take corners because he’s been absolutely ace which I don’t ever remember him being before? If he has he ought to show Josh how to take them because he’s has zero idea.
