I hated ‘Whites Away’ before Wembley, I have sung it every day since and my missus who has been to 1 Bolton game in her live admitted to humming away to it.

Apparently when she picked me up last week we stopped at local garage/Sainburys and I was singing it in car park.

Yes they were very impressed.

Stayed at my Derby mates after that game, he pretty much said the same thing.

Sliding doors moment with that JDB header, that goes in we could have been looking at a completely different outcome that season.

But it wasn’t meant to be.

Beat Tranmere we might not have got Bruce. 

Beat Watford we wouldn’t have got Allardyce

Beat Oxford no Schuey and beating Stockport at Wembley

I’d need to buy a white coat. It needs to be about 40 degrees outside for me to just wear a t-shirt in the west upper - it’s at least 25 degrees lower than outside up there!

I don't normally wear colours at matches after me and my mate nearly got twatted by Stoke fans at motorway services 

We were on our way back from Southampton on the first day of the season at the Dell

Was mid 20s at the time and me and mate were sat on some grass just having a cig minding our own business whilst our other mates went for a piss 

About ten blokes in their 40s plus approach us, no colours on, offer us out. Ex footballer Micky Thomas was with them 

We say we're not interested but they didn't seem to want to take no for an answer 

Managed to talk our way out of it, they tell us they hate Burnley as one of them got twatted there. Then a car with Burnley fans on parks up

Our saviours as we fucked off quick 

Anyway I bought into the white wall thing, bought the replica shirt from 89 and wore it. Thought we would win 4-1 but as a non betting person didn't bother 

Wonder what the odds were 

I won't probably wear it again as don't want to jinx it as it did it's job

Noticed loads of people at wembley waving scarves /shirts etc around above their heads .

Everyone bringing a white scarf to games next season would do the job fine.

Not sure there's such a thing!  Our scarves are more blue and red than white.

Leeds and Real Madrid seem to have predominantly white scarves, we tend to major on blue (and the kit will be virtually all white soon).

Scarves will never be cool at Bolton, the youth are just not scarf wearers.  Liverpool love all that (for obvious reasons) and Leeds/Arsenal, but most don't.

I noticed every bugger in Bradford had one on when we went up there. Boiling hot and the majority of their fans had scarves round them.
