One of those that I really want to watch again now, pick up all the bits I missed. Decaprio character doesn't allow him to do his best - but others may disagree, Deniro is amazing, best film of his for ages. So much of the story I had no idea about - I guess that's the point - about the beginnings of modern America, the story of the modern native Americans arc, start of the FBI and the bringing to heel the west, but essentially its a story of morality, of everyone being either corrupt or corruptible.
