Traf Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 Here's a couple of things I thought I would never say. Just watched Les Misérables Were Captainmed and Anewman in it? Quote
Zico Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 thought Skyfall was a bit turd - the opening fight sequence was like the chicken fight in Family Guy it went on that long Django Unchained is decent though, not Tarratino's finest but well worth a watch Quote
no balls Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 Here's a couple of things I thought I would never say. Just watched Les Misérables and it was fucking outstanding. One of the best films I have ever seen. Secondly, Sacha Baron Cohen was superb. I've heard Smiffs is a shite singist in it though. Musicals, Baz, you'll be in the Virgin Active gym sauna next. Quote
barryk32 Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 Aye, Smiffs should stick to murdering Romans to death. Quote
birch-chorley Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 watched that Impossible at the flicks on Saturday Utter dogshit so dont waste your time Once you know that they have all survived the initial flood you waste over an hour of your life as they go around looking for each other Complete pish Quote
Smiley Posted January 14, 2013 Author Posted January 14, 2013 The Paperboy is very dark and odd. Nicole Kidman looks good for once. Plays a dirty slapper type. Quote
Big_Sharps Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 Aye, Smiffs should stick to murdering Romans to death. Interesting. Quote
Big_Sharps Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 Gonna watch, The Watch in a few minutes. Any good? Quote
barryk32 Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 Gonna watch, The Watch in a few minutes. Any good? It was shit, turned it off halfway through, mind numbing. You'll probably love it. Quote
L/H White Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 watched rise of the footsoldier last night after hearing good things, wasn't overly impressed. was alreet. The book is brilliant, read it in about 4 days on Holiday last year. Quote
Zico Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter take it for what it is - and it's ok - had it on last night multitasking, i.e. keeping up to date with the match on twitter, so wasn't concentrating too much, but didn't really need to Quote
Youri McAnespie Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter take it for what it is - and it's ok - had it on last night multitasking, i.e. keeping up to date with the match on twitter, so wasn't concentrating too much, but didn't really need to It's probably more historically accurate than the Daniel Day-Lewis one, due out soon, judging from the trailer. I half expected Abe to be shown on horseback leading 400 Indian Braves galloping into battle at Gettysberg. Quote
L/H White Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 It was shit, turned it off halfway through, mind numbing. You'll probably love it. Bazza, a lot of the films you seem to chose, all seem to be shite, or you turn off halfway through. You need a new hobby mate :-) Quote
gonzo Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 The book is brilliant, read it in about 4 days on Holiday last year. Read Muscle by Carlton Leach....twas very good. Quote

no balls Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 (edited) Watched it tonight Enjoyed it but what's with Tom Hardy mumbling He only seems to play folk with fucked up voices And he had very strange shaped shoulders Odd as fuck I keep hearing his name in reference to current hot fitties. I hadnt a clue who he was. Having just googled him, it's either me with odd taste or the general public. Edited January 16, 2013 by no balls Quote
barryk32 Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 Bazza, a lot of the films you seem to chose, all seem to be shite, or you turn off halfway through. You need a new hobby mate :-) On the contrary, the last two have both been excellent. Good solid 9/10's. Quote
Zico Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 sorry shittier than an Elton Welsbey enema I know, that should've been my summary, most vampire flicks aren't fit to bite the lost boys neck, I just liked the way they combined the vampire story with the civil war and slavery Think I'll have to file this one under "guilty pleasures" and we'll say no more about it Quote
barryk32 Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 Here Comes The Boom. Pleasantly surprised. I expected it to be awful but there were some genuine laugh out loud moments. One for the whole family. 7/10 Quote
Spider Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 I watched The Grey last night. Liam Neeson is in it. There's a lot of snow. So, if you like looking at snow, watch this. If you consider 2 hours of your life precious, do something else. Lots of snow. Quote
Spider Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 Yep, seen that, snowy guff For balance, I ought to mention that there are some wolves in it. But mainly, snow. Quote
