athywhite1958 Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 To be fair, I think we were all thinking it. I wasn't (have you seen NB and Missus C angry ) I've not and don't want to
MickyD Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 I think the coat may be clear for a few days at least.
Snow_white Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 Those fucking Jester hats in the teams colours. Women who have been to one game and now know everyhting there is to know about club. Blokes who have been to one game and now know everything there is to know about the club. Old guys who still say, "who's the Darkie?" Teams getting into Europe to then not want to be in Europe?????? Champions League. Playing for fourth place. Out of town stadia. Johnny cum latelies. People who shout "sit down!" to people who are just trying to inject some sort of passion into an otherwise lifeless match. All-seater grounds. It's the 21st Century, surely we can have sufficient crowd control provisions now? Teams without local players. Foreign managers. England hyperbole. The Sun. Patronising London journalists. Big sam= bad Owen Coyle= good. David Pleat. Andy Townsend. Ex-footballers who have suddenly become pundits for no good reason, Dixon, Savage, Higginbottom?????? Commentators comparing players just because they look a like, eg Makele and Lassana Diarra. AVB is the new Mourinho. Cyber-warriors/hooligans/trolls.
HomerJay Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 (edited) people who stand up, on their own, when every other cunt is sat down, cos theyre "real fans". Edited September 23, 2011 by HomerJay
Zico Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 them what stand up to sing, then turn to the rest of the crowd giving it the hand gestures that say "come on then cunts, why are you not singing" don't get me wrong i like singing i like standing but I don't need a fucking conductor
frank_spencer Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 people who stand up, on their own, when every other cunt is sat down, cos theyre "real fans". Then tell the old timer who's sat behind them and asked them to sit down to 'fuck off and support your team'.
Whites man Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 Not having a close season, never get a break from it anymore.
Adlington Trotter Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 The term "quarter back" creeping into football.

Didledee Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 What??? Where? Fox Soccertainment? Never heard it. Thank Fuck Tom Huddlestone of Spurs is described as this quite a lot.
stevieb Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 Tom Huddlestone of Spurs is described as this quite a lot. Sickening.
Crawley Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 Grown men with the names of their favourite player on the back of replica shirts. On a Saturday afternoon when they are shopping with their missus and their team is at home.
MickyD Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 Grown men with the names of their favourite player on the back of replica shirts. On a Saturday afternoon when they are shopping with their missus and their team is at home. agreed. usually red shirts and rooney.
Traf Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 Players wearing gloves, particularly those who wear short sleeved shirts at the same time ie Micah Richards etc.
pato Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 Tom Huddlestone of Spurs is described as this quite a lot. As in if you asked him to put in 100% you'd get a quarter back?
Whites man Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 The correct term for Quarterback is the "Campo role".
Big E Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 Miserable old fuckers like me shouting "sit down" when you're getting excited/agitated
Juan.Kerr Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 Mark Clattenberg ( apologies if he's been mentioned earlier but I can't be arsed looking).
HomerJay Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 I have no idea what a quarterback is...in any sport!
Adlington Trotter Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 The press started calling Beckham one a few years ago when Real played him in centre mid. I forgot to mention when pundits and commentators mention that a certain club "was a founder member of the premier league." So fuckin what? They happened to be in the English top league when it changed name. QPR, you will never ever be able to say you took part in worlds first ever football league. It was mentioned a minute ago on skys coverage of QPR - Villa.
only1swanny Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 To be fair, I think we were all thinking it. to be fair.. my Gran died 3 years ago.. never really took her as much of a football fan and she lived in Walkden most of her life. She went to the Finals in 53 and 58, and her mam went to two in the 20's.. W"hoever says women shouldnt be going to football seems they've been going as long as the blokes have.
Guest Biff Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 When I first started going to Burnden Park, women were admitted for the same price as juveniles. Presumably they didn't understand football as much as men.
