MickyD Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 MarkD's goal out of the blue dragged us back into the game. That's the trouble; davies' goal, unstoppable as it was, was just as you describe, out of the blue. It was the only way we were ever going to score today. Running the ball into the area was a ploy too difficult fot the players. Quote
HomerJay Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 Oh and how eagles stayed on at ht and petrov went off was unbelievable Petrov was the only attacking threat, eagles was his usual shit No idea what the nobs were booing for when he went off Quote
Bono Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 Everyone on here could see the formation was not right. When K Davies in team today I dont know anyone who thought that right. Quote

Nobody can even say that Eagles is a luxury we can't afford, he isn't even that, he is a hindrance to the rest of the players. Quote
kent_white Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 We've managed to dismantle the nice little bit of very hard earned momentum we had built up and are now on the back foot again. I won't comment on the glaringly obvious tactical mistakes as enough has been said about them already. I remember Burnley fans moaning about Coyle's massive, unhealthy bias towards an unworkable 442, but I put that down to them not having the players to try something different. It would appear I was wrong. One positive from today was that Ryo looked the part when he came on. Not as lightweight as I imagined, had his head up all the time and looks like he pick pick a final pass. Very disappointed with Coyle's post match interview where he laid into the players and said there would be changes in personel for the next game. Surely he had to take some responsibility for todays debacle. I was sure I heard him say Chungy was only a few weeks from returning but might have misheard. Oh, and Petrov was our most effective player by a country mile in the first 45. Quote
Bobcat Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 that's the problem.... the idiot can't see he's doing anything wrong.. where as we all can Quote
Bigtoe Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 What a load of fucking crap, indefensible that performance from start to finish A local derby, three points for the taking, and we didnt turn up Kevin Davies has had his time in the sun now for fuck sake, move on, the whole game passes him buy, and all we do is look for flick ons, its fucking obvious to the opposition We were crying out for Muamba in midfield , so to leave him on the bench was a joke The last two games have been a disgrace I WANT MY 5 FUCKING POUNDS BACK Quote
freds dad Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 Muamba on Twitter: "I can't really tell the reasonI wasn't involved today, that will get me into much trouble but thanks for all your messages" Will OC forgive for next week as we may need him? Quote
Matt Lofthouse Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 Well that was shit, really shit. Not many spare seats in the bolton ends today. Those on the ?5 deal wont be back in a hurry. Coyle has lost a lot, if not all of his supporters today. He has fucked up big time. Quote
HomerJay Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 I guess that confirms it then. Rules are rules I guess but cant help thinking coyles has cut his nose off with this one Quote
onefinfrandsen Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 Weekend spoilt, was looking forward to sending the inbreds down today, thought we had turned the corner, they had nt won for 2 months. is it to late to get rid of coyle because after todays cock ups he can go now for me. Quote
Matt Lofthouse Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 He can take that fucking fairy Eagles with him too. Quote
superkev Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 Anyone see the kicking off in ESL. All came from an argument about Kevin Davies. I was watching that rather than the match for 10 minutes. Quote
SatanGreavsie Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 Th'East Midlands Whites are just back and are drinking heavily already; Grants at ?15 a litre from Morrisons and Henry Weston's finest. Today's team selection and performance was bogwank, absolute bogwank Quote
MickyD Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 I guess that confirms it then. Rules are rules I guess but cant help thinking coyles has cut his nose off with this one Definately is a case of cutting his nose off. I think going into games against city and chelsea three points today would have made the lack of points from the next two slightly more palatable. As it is, we're fucked. Quote
Mona Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 So Muamba gets dropped for being late , and Eagles plays because he's a goody two shoes Nice one Owen!!!! I hope NRC has something to say about that, and the rest of the shambolic decisions OC made today !!! Quote
Mona Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 (edited) So what did he do, drop the Coyle family bible???? Edited February 11, 2012 by Mona Quote
chief wiggum Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 Absolute Shite. Tactical ineptitude of the highest order. We are fucked. Nothing more to add, over and out. Quote
jayjayoghani Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 Sat next to Enzo today, he says summat like when Muamba plays, Reo Coker plays better I reply, WHAT ABOUT DAVIES? then got thinking, well doesn't Petrov play better, and probably Eagles too Plus the defence Lets face it, Muamba aint Zidane, but he's our water carrier we cant function without him Quote
Alf Hartigan Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 You're all talking shite and it will be reet....... is what I'd like to say, but completely agree that the formation and Muamba issues are a major fuck up by Coyle. Thought we had turned the corner, but think we're doomed again now. Quote

I was watching that rather than the match for 10 minutes. Yeah because that opinionative twat who work in tickets office and his dick head mates did nothing but slag Davies of or 70 minutes. Not because of his football ability (or maybe lack of it nowadays) but personal attacks on him. And to personally abuse someone who has done nothing but good things for this club over the past 8 or so years, I think is a downright disgrace and they are not welcome at the Reebok IMO. Davies' legs have gone. We know that, but he certainly is not a cunt, nor a wanker or any of the other profanities they came out with. They can take their 5 quid tickets and crawl back under the woodwork where they've been for the rest of the season. Edited February 11, 2012 by matty_bwfc11 Quote

Davies should stand down if he loves this club... the constant arse kissing that the bolton news and others give Davies is crippling us...thanks kev but please fuck off Quote

Not Kevin Davies. If selected, he will put that shirt on give his all and always will. Same cant be said for half of them. And for that reason I'll never have a bad word to say about him. If the manager can't see e is no longer good enough ten the problem is the manager not the player. Quote
