Tonge moor green jacket Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 I wish you lot would leave it out. Forty fucking one Celsius today and all day all I have been able to think about at work are those frosted bottles of Monteith's Crushed apple Cider at the back of our fridge. The first two of those on ice won't even touch the sides and steam will be coming out of my ears. Soon be Autumn and magnificent weather. they've been talking on the cricket about big thunderstorms, you not had any? Quote

no balls Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 It's just bucked up here which is a good fucking job as I've got to go and look at a barn just over the border this lunchtime & I've not brought my wellies! Quote
green genie Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 I happened to glance upon the the daily star during lunch as it had been left on my table. The front page reported on "waves the size of tower blocks, thunder snow and gale force hail storms to hit the north west and sout west of England today and tomorrow." It's glorious sunshine here with a bit of a stiff breeze. Is it April fools day?? Local rag does the "biggest waves on planet" expected, off back of swell charts on http://magicseaweed.com/UK-Ireland-Surf-Chart/1/ Might be biggest in world at that instance miles offshore but even on North Cornwall coast the approaches calm them down and Ireland being the biggest breakwater in the world means you're donkeys won't get washed away. Been in on the Atlantic coast of Portugal on a normal day and it's scary. Quote
