athywhite1958 Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 A coach load in Westhoughton yesterday morning, 11.00am and a coach load in Athy, by all accounts some of them in Athy [sun'lun] could barely walk to get on their coach at 2.00pm Quote

The Wanderer Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 Only 13000 on at Blackburn. sad, sad times... Quote
Carlos Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 Was there really 8,585 on at Leicester v Middlesbrough? Quote
Guest bwfcdan Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 Was there really 8,585 on at Leicester v Middlesbrough? Yep, terrible weather around Leicester though on Friday night. Boro team only turned up around 19:30 and around 300 Boro fans made it. I seem to remember a trip to Chelsea about 10 year back and a load of fans didn't make it because of traffic problems around London. Think it when Jaidi scored? Quote
smithills_gent Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 Was there really 8,585 on at Leicester v Middlesbrough? Yes.The weather was so bad there no public transport in Leicester after 6pm but Sky pull the strings and the pitch was playable so the Friday night match went ahead. Quote
Traf Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 sad, sad times... Very sad indeed that there are still 13,000 stupid enough to go. Quote
HomerJay Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 sad, sad times... In all seriousness though Ha ha ha ha ha Quote
Youri McAnespie Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 (edited) Only 13000 on at Blackburn. The announcement over the P.A. system, however, said: "...and the official attendance today here at Ewood Park was...Not telling! Edited January 21, 2013 by Youri McAnespie Quote
waffer cup 07 Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 Word is actual crowds at Ewood are actually lower but Rovers are including season ticket holders who aren't turning up. Don't know if we do the same. Quote
Con Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 I was given a ticket to Arse v Swansea weds night. Arse do the same as DMBs, you have to buy cup tickets when you get an ST. Point being, the attendance was given as 58 thousand odd, Id say there were at least 10-12000 seats, not around 1500 as said. Apparently they go on tickets sold, not how many actually turn up. Quote

When we played there in the Cup 3rd round it was given as full house but found out from someone who organises hospitality at Emirates there was 52K on Quote

Leyther_Matt Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 which make sense, from a not trying to fleece the tax many type purposes Tax is based on the actual income through rather than the number of tickets. That said, it's common practice now for the 'attendance' to just be 'tickets sold' so I would expect BWFC do the same. Quote
