Heard some stuff today from one behind us in NSL and in the bar queue that was beyond belief. 'Calm down, fucking calm it down' was the advice given after one slightly hurried pass from somebody whose face was like a tomato and his veins were popping out. Subs delivered the goods though felt a bit sorry for Sordell, he might well have done if DF had brought either of Ngog or Davies on to work with him. He worked hard enough first half but had jack shit support or service. I was one who wasn't happy when De Ridder was hooked before Eagles but fair enough if he was tightening up. Eagles should have been benched weeks ago,hasn't affected a game since Blackburn away, well before Christmas Glad all was well in the end, though that team selection was far too lightweight for that sort of game. Strong men and strong minds is what we had on the pitch last half hour and it worked. DF might need to accept that a bit of power, pace and getting it forward a bit quicker's what will be needed to get us moving upwards, maybe we can revert to the tippy tappy possession stuff when we've the confidence of some wins and form under our belts Dawson did well, defending steady enough, big threat at corners (if he plays every week he'll get five or six goals before the season's end), just a bit panicky at times when on the ball in our half Quote

And when did goalkeepers start taking goal kicks from the centre of the 6 yard box? Quote

I watched the Watfor- Palace game last night and listened to the Palace fans cause a right raucos even at 2 down,not a boo or chant in earshot.
