MrG Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 +1 What time were you on? I think their programmes are available online as playbacks... I believe it was on their 'drive time' show, someone text me at 4:45 to tell me they had just heard it. I have been told that it will be on iplayer tomorrow but I am not so good with the technology so if someone could get some kind of link then that would be great, cheers Quote
MrG Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 That's quality mate!! Cheers!! The best thing was that one of the lads who was being interviewed with us had come to my office on Monday to "ask how Bolton had done at the weekend!!" Another boy said when they were doing the TV bit: "I've got my city shirt on underneath my jumper, can I go behind them and spoil it?" Go for it lad was my reply!! Quote

DomRepWanderer Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 6year contract for Moyes, that's a bit of a gamble. Quote
Guest Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 6year contract for Moyes, that's a bit of a gamble. He'll last for 18 months MMFW Quote
Guest Blixa Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 I reckon he'll do well. Managed to keep a skint club near the top, logic says he will do even better with a decent squad and a budget. Quote
Andydee Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 Potentially 6 years season tickets our local DMB publican will save then as he informed me, when I bumped into him earlier, he wouldn't be attending whilst Moyes was manager. Quote
Zulu Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 Oh I do hope it all turns out well for them. It would be awful if they were to hit the wall after having given so much to the English game. (Do I get the media job?) Quote
darwen_white Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 6year contract for Moyes, that's a bit of a gamble. Not won a single trophy. No European experience. It's lose, lose all the way Quote

I dunno. Allardyce didnt half buy some duds at Newcastle, admittedly he wasnt there long Mark Hughes is another. Good with limited squads/funds at Wales/Blackburn. Failed at City and QPR Edited May 9, 2013 by jayjayoghani Quote

Spider Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 I've backed Ferguson to be next Man Utd manager at 100/1. Quote
exiledwhite2 Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 I've not heard much mention of this but Moyes is also a cheap option compared to a big name, especially as he's out of contract anyway. Will he be able to force the Glazers into big signings... no way. Quote
Guest Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 I've backed Ferguson to be next Man Utd manager at 100/1. Mentioned here today Moyes flops, Sir Alex to the rescue 100/1 seems quite generous Quote

Guest Blixa Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 Mentioned here today Moyes flops, Sir Alex to the rescue 100/1 seems quite generous That's presuming he's not doing the back seat driving in the first place. Quote

Zico Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 Can't see utd imploding, they've got a legacy going on and top players will want to play for them Moyes has shown he can consistently do well with what he's got, everton aren't skint but they may not compete with plenty other teams like villa when it comes to fees paid (though they always seem to have cash), but they're always top 8 - they show what you get from stability management wise Everything is in place for him to carry on the "good" work. Can see Chelsea winning it next season if mourinho comes back but can't see utd going down the same path as Liverpool post 80s domination Can't say I'm arsed if they do or don't, the cunts at the top will always be replaced by more cunts and city are ready and waiting. Mourinho and Wenger make for bigger cunts when they're winning everything as well Quote
Henry_VIII Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 MrG that voice sounds familiar.... Do you teach in Bolton? Top of the class. Quote

Rembrandt Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 Calls for Fergie to be made a Lord, according to BBC NW news. Not Prime Minister & King combined then ? Quote
