tylswhite
Why is it Unless you charge about the pitch hacking full backs down with late challenges you are deemed lazy by some of our moronic fans? The answer is in your question mate

Anelka seemed to work harder when he went to Chelsea
enzo gambaro
Sticking my neck out even further than Beckford here, I know, but he isn't ever going to be Anelka.
anewman
Beckford will come good got every confidence in him opening up soon
darwen_white
I don't think Beckford's going to be average. He'll either be unstoppable or a complete flop.
Naytch
Beckford will get about 20 this season, just need to get him the service. No doubt in my mind he el be a top signing for us
jules_darby
I'm another one who was reading that quote, nodding and smiling Dougie seems to get it doesn't he....and there's so much more depth to him than OC's sycophantic wailing when he was Manager The more I hear our manager and the more I see what he's trying to achieve, he more I like him. I was cautious at first when others sang his praises immediately, but even if we flopped this year, unless something huge changes in his approach, I'd say this is our man for the long term I hope! ex_midlandwhite
His quote about him and Beckford nodding at each knowingly after the game is a cracker too.
Garrp
His quote about him and Beckford nodding at each knowingly after the game is a cracker too. Loved that "If you think his movement is good, wait till you see his finishing"
tomski
I think we will get Dawson, whether loan or permo? Still see Rhodes in aswell

tomski
I envy your optimismYes mate, I'm optimistic but to be honest the Dougie regime hasn't told me any lies yet. He wants Sawson and Rhodes. I expect bids. Whether they are agreed is a different matter! Edited August 12, 2013 by tomski
tylswhite
I think we will get Dawson, whether loan or permo? Still see Rhodes in aswell I honestly cant understand why anybody would think we will be getting Rhodes. Dingles paid over 8 million for the fucker, they aint just gonna give him away. onlyoneawalker
Plus we coppered up for spearing at £2mish and Dougie did thank Eddie - just can't see him putting in as much cash as we'd need to get Rhodes but who knows we may be holding back budget waiting but dougies comments would suggest not Edited August 13, 2013 by onlyoneawalker
gonzo
If we hadnt have already plumped for beckford I would share the Rhodes optimism. But beckford won't be on a pittence and like has been said we emptied eddies piggy bank to get spearing for a paltry 2 million. No way a bid for Rhodes is happening unless N'gog departs with a shed load of others. Same goes for Dawson for that matter...the policy certainly seems to be one in one out. Comon Leeds...get some cash stumped up for mills as I reckon this hinges massively on any move for Dawson. freds dad
Not even on the bench yesterday. Wasted (not him, the fact that he's not playing) They don't want him picking up an injury before his move. ITK

Mounts Kipper
Not even on the bench yesterday. Wasted (not him, the fact that he's not playing) He can't be happy at WBA it looks obvious the manager does not rate him, the danger is our bad start makes him decide to go somewhere else. Site Supporter Ratwhite Posted August 25, 2013 Site Supporter Share Posted August 25, 2013 If we did get him, reckon it would be a great idea to make it a " full" season deal. Rather than a season -1 game affair
BOWTUN BAKED
Done deal depending on whether a premiership team comes in Also hearing these rumours, if no-one comes in to buy, he'll be here on loan when the transfer window closes. Any legs in this? Where's the ITKers?
