Them not sending Gabriel off is so bizarre, Bernardo will be a huge loss to City after this season

That's never a headbutt. I'd call it a head push. Yellow card was right imo.

Some of this is less about the player, more about the manager, repeatedly asking people to do things that aren't their skill set.

Gale did ok first half, one great cross Dalby should have converted, but generally couldn't get on top of Sorensen. It was clear as day him and GJ (another being asked to play out of position) were a big risk, Sorensen and Harness were all over them. SS should have seen it and been decisive, however pissed off Gale might have been.

Same as them who leave early!

After Max sky'ed that 'cross' into the North upper on 99 minutes, I presumed the ref would blow as soon as they took the goal kick. We always stay til the end anyway but wanted to applaud them at the end for their brave efforts.

Their guy then runs it into the corner before losing it and I'm thinking, "he'll blow as soon as Bonham boots this up".  He doesn't. On the clips on Twitter you can see folk leaving the lower East as Sissoko plays it up to ACD!

The bedlam that followed will stay with me forever 😀

Yes, the biggest catalyst for folk to leave was Conway's cross into row Z, that definitely felt like the moment it was over, and as much as we'd done well to battle upto that point, our delivery and crossing was abysmal, correct me if I'm wrong did we ever get a sniff of even a half chance in the last 10 minutes?  That cross and that pass from Cissoko to ACD that should have set him away down the right but he just couldn't execute was typical, it was so frustrating.

Then the goal completely out of the blue.  Bedlam, and we've been so lucky to have that moment so many times this season, its ridiculous.  Lincoln, Cardiff, Wycombe, Huddersfield twice to name the main 5, those moments would normally span about 5 seasons.  Surely no other club in the country has had those moments this season and decent teams like Huddersfield have been on the wrong side of them several times, we haven't had it happen to us once which adds to the freakish nature of this season.

Yes, its only a sending off in a world where you get sent off for touching someone's hair.

He's a good referee is Anthony Taylor and fair play by VAR to stick by his decision. If it even went to VAR that is, which I presume it did. I still don't want VAR but can't help but feel we'd have benefited from it this season. Then again, most teams fans would say the same 😀

I think they said after the match that VAR determined it was a "head push", or similar, rather than a headbutt, which is fair enough but it's not a decision that's normally taken in those circumstances

Great game. They are bottlers but were unlucky to lose.

Doesn't often happen but I'm all footballed out after that weekend. Square eyes.

Our six goal thriller, Villa game, City v Arsenal, scouse derby and then Boca - River.

It tends to be feast or famine doesn't it.  From the drudgery of international weekends, to the wall to wall interesting/exciting (not all) matches from Friday night to Sunday evening.

A quiet Monday for football fans (except West Ham) to clear their heads before the big push of the next 2 weekends!

So a draw would suit us best, failing that a Bradford win? Which would mean Plymouth can't catch us &  guarantees us a play off place.

I think.

Bradford are without Sarcevic, Pointon and Tyreik Wright tonight, probably their 3 most influential players.

Meanwhile Stockport's XI includes about 5 forwards.

Will be interesting.
