Dalby has been ineffective played up top on his own.......He needs another around him His heading ability is ok for someone his size it is not his major asset which is taking the ball and shielding it for another Quote
Wanderlust Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Also the “hefty loan fee up front” mentioned by Lies doesn’t chime well. Surely if there’s a question over his injury, they would consider a performance based deal where they get even more money if he delivers? Shying away from that would indicate that Wrexham themselves have doubts. Quote
Whitesince63 Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Signing someone with an injury record is ill advised but signing someone who’s currently injured and with a big loan fee seems far too risky to me. Say we sign him and it means we let Macca go to make way, then he breaks down again it means we’re fooked cos the windows closed by then. We just can’t afford risks like this for me when there are others I’m sure we could bring in without that risk. Quote
masi 51 Posted January 30 Posted January 30 As others say i would swerve the Hardie Transfer also the same with Nombe. Ability wise they both have it but they both have fitness issues. Quote

Tonge moor green jacket Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Nombe is playing currently. That's something. Quote

Bollocks to a false/floating/imaginary No10. It's football. It's simple. It's been done for years. Quote

Nobody mentioned this ten or his role.....I said Dalby needs another up front with him, and i also stand by that Dalby is only average in the air If we sign either Hardie or Nombe then they will play in front of Dalby not behind him Edited January 30 by masi 51 Quote

Reading between the lines it's dragged on due to his fitness and we want assurances Like I said, it's just a bad vibe I'm on edge rizlar I believe it's dragged on because Wrexham want someone in first, they're waiting on either Adam Armstrong or Keillor-Dunn from Barnsley Quote
passmosster Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Hope that we have a winger somewhere who can actually cross the ball. Toes up like Doug Holden. Quote

At least we know he’s fit. Quote

Marc505 Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Another 3 in - striker, midfielder and another? Oof. Quote

Dr. Feelgood Posted January 30 Posted January 30 This level of change, ins and outs, mid-seaon suggests a view that the squad we began the season with was simply not good enough. No fixed style (good), no certainty of our best formation or our best team. Yet we're 3rd. Had a very, very slow start with draws galore, then a poor December & a recent phase where we've picked up points despite limited performances. Quote

Popular Post Duck Egg Posted January 30 Popular Post Posted January 30 It's nice that this year we're fretting about the suitability of Hardie when this time last year Kion Etete was just about to rock up. Quote
