I agree, Sheffield definitely getting too much respect. The one thing I disagree with Parkinson is that we respect teams too much and sit off. We know we can beat them, twice in fact, they aren't a special team but have grinded results out better than most teams, mainly due to Billy Sharp up top.

You're right.

It is

:)

Just reminded me of a few years ago, I posted a fact that my lad had never seen a goal, and therefore asked if I should keep him away from the play offs (we didn't get there in the end).

Quite a few said don't bring him!

I've got a feeling that the travelling army will be rewarded next week anyway.

Maybe I'm misreading jturner's post that last time we (Bolton) got out of the 3rd division (92-93) there were four teams better than Sheffield (presumably United but didn't state) Bolton, Port Vale, Stoke and WBA. I reckon that's as close to saying the five teams were all in the same division together otherwise how would you measure the four clubs' ability compared to Sheffield United?

I didn't say the original post was sensible.

I read it as a comparison between the current Sheffield United side and four teams from the same division 20-odd years earlier.
