Given the recent labour leaflet dropped through my m-i-l's letter box, they would do a lot better if they weren't so removed from the public's concerns.

Instead, they still level the racist comment at anyone that doesn't agree with them.

A simple word, that could so readily be used by their opponents on a similar advert.

Hard to see it doing Labour any good though in the local elections, plus would rather a political party be positive about what they will do, not negative on what the opposition will. But none of them seem to do that.  It’s all about “project fear” from all sides.

Like I said, you need to be squeaky clean. I reckon you could make a longer broadcast with some of the shit the Labour lot have said and done  over the years.

I think there’s a difference here though. I agree with you that individual of any party who commits a crime deserves to be outed and punished (however long ago anything was said or done….even 50 years 😉). This councillor included.

I think the Labour broadcast though actually highlighted some Reform policies (NHS, Iran) ….. as well as a selection of racist, misogynistic and fruity bonkers (COVID vaccine) comments.

Happy for us all to be consistent though and condemn individual comments/behaviours whatever the source 👍.

Not a single policy was mentioned, there line seems to ‘sack Starmer’ which is a strange one for local elections.

I still don't know what their long-term strategy is. Trump will be irrelevant or dead in 5 years, GB News will be bankrupt and most of their voters are the wrong side of 70.

I'm in the same boat mate. I find it hard to be anything other than apathetic about him. For the life of me I can't understand the level of fury he seems to provoke in some people. I find it really strange.

Never known anything like it and I don't think Starmer is good either. In fact he's made some right fuck ups.
