😊 He was a player then.

Just back from Prague. Concluding my business relationship with a great country. Brexit finally beat me.
Staropramen for me. 👍

Brexit eh? One for the winners 😇

It's all a bit silly this isn't it? Daft thing to say, and a really amateurish move by a government that already looked like a bunch of slimy shitbags for their behaviour over the past hundred days.

Free trade without the strings we’d still be in… but no they had to add strings and continue to add more… fuck um… they’ll wake up one day.

We can both agree that Andrew Neil, founding chairman of GB news and generally terrible bloke, writes for a garbage tabloid in the Daily Mail.

Odd he was on the BBC, as it’s just left wing commies.

Is he a paedo as well?

That’s got nowt to do with Starmer. Was just pointing at that that bloke is one unfunny fucker. Wouldn’t matter what the subject matter was.

By the way. I love how you’ve now become politically engaged after not giving a fuck about the Tories spending the last 14 years fucking everything up. It’s heartening to see

Yep. I’m now retired. I’ve almost got as much time to waste on here as everyone else😊

I was actually thinking of joining a bowling club today...

I last played bowls (Crown Green) over  30 years ago. I think the average age of bowlers is less than some think. It fits the prejudiced views of some though.
Not sure if it’s the same down your way but always remember, finger or thumb peg. 😉

What is the timekeeping rule in bowls?

Will I get a ban for nuttin' the ref?

Giving me flashbacks to my old man visiting Oz mate :D

Haranguing the locals about bowls including their lack of any crowned greens. Thrown out and barred from Woonona Bowling Club. He was only here for 3 weeks!

And Bingo. What will you do when you retire

I've not decided yet, but as I want to retire when I'm 55, I need to start thinking about it. Like others on here, I'll certainly spend as much time as I can somewhere a bit warmer, so I'll be avoiding the UK between Oct-Feb.

I'd like to think I'll do a lot of travelling, so hopefully I'll still be in good health, so as I can enjoy it. All being well, I'll have a great time, and then I'll die peacefully in my sleep before I get too old, and I start to lose mobility and control of my bowels (c70/75 years old)

Plus walking football mate. You will live long and prosper.

Thank me later :hi:

I'm not sure walking football is for me, but walking the dogs for a couple of hours everyday is good enough exercise...especially, like yesterday when the little one gets a scent in his nose, and then fucks off over the fields so I have to go legging after him before he dives into a badger sett, or leaps into the river. Won’t be arguing about politics with blokes I don’t know on a third division football club’s message board, that’s for sure.

Sorry if I’m stealing the thunder of Boby and Mounts, who a few months ago were busy posting about investment secured by the Tory government (although they’re not posting so much recently).

I’m sure they’ll welcome the news.

Funnily enough I got offered corporate hospitality for Arsenal v Bolton last month but turned it down to avoid the paperwork for accepting gifts at work*.

*That’s a lie, I turned it down because I didn’t want to risk being sat near Sir Kier Stalin.
