A massive l, fuming word salad and not even a hint of a Brexit benefit.

The wait goes on. Be 9 years soon.

Patrick is just finishing his exhaustive list, so you'll soon see them all, laid out

So today UK 10 year government bonds are outperforming German and US ones. If you followed the logic of some of the media reporting and headlines and nonsense from Ed Davey and other opposition parties shouldn’t the headlines now be ‘Reeves redeemed as economic plan works’?

nope, you're clearly not listening

Anything Labour does = bad

Anything Conservatives do = good

Anything bad happening, is because of Starmer, anything good is because of the former administration

Sure. But that wasn’t really my point.

Gilts have been pushed down lower today by news that retail was unexpectedly down in December meaning that it’s likely December shows no growth or negative growth. Fair few caveats on that as the number isn’t final.

But the point is that all the nonsense ‘Reeves needs a growth plan to calm the markets’ was from economically illiterate people. The gilt markets aren’t reacting to economic performance or indeed politics in the way people think. They simply don’t understand. Lower growth or no growth or negative growth in many cases as we’ve seen today sees gilts market moves down. Growth would see gilts rise again.

I was honestly expecting this left wing media bias to be in full effect by now.

Even traffickers have holidays! 😁

Unfortunately they don’t. At the same time last year the total crossing were 263 so the 66% decrease all of a sudden is closer to a 66% increase!

Labour ❤️

From your article.

However, the latest IMF figures also showed weaker growth last year than it had forecast, growing by just 0.9 per cent last year, down from its previous forecast of 1.1 per cent. And the Office for National Statistics revealed on Thursday that UK GDP grew by a weaker-than-expected 0.1 per cent in November. This came after a 0.1 per cent decline in October and zero growth over the third quarter of the year.

That Jessop bloke knows his onions.

If we rejoined the single market or customs union we would see a huge uptick in investment and business confidence.

Alas, it will not happen any time soon.

Seems the ‘new Thatcher’ has been hiding in plain sight! Who’d have thought.😅

You can't be understanding correctly? Surely she's comparing herself to a workman who does old style rooves in Kent?

102 each day last year.

37 each day so far this year.

Looking good for a 66% decrease in 2025

Although I imagine the numbers ramp up in the warmer weather!

A good job you added that last line matey.

The Tories were playing this game and claiming their policy was working every time there was a prolonged period of inclement weather.
