Ref fucked up the silence and then got worse.

Wonder where Parky got this new dressing room from, thought he had lost the last one according to the experts.

Thought the full backs were very good, Robinson has the odd dodgy moment but they compliment the rest of team well

Deserved that win, shame about the clean sheet but glad that goal didn't come any earlier

proper team performance.

33% possession but more shots than Norwich.

The tippy tappy teams like Norwich and Fulham take 10 passes and 60 seconds to get the ball to a position where we take one kick from Alnwick and a flick on from Madine so possession stats are always going to be skewed against us.

Ameobi is worth the admission fee alone

They are a good team with some proper players but ameobi was the best player on the pitch and still flying on 90 minutes

Their 4 was a good little player, similar to Bannen.

I think the cock up with the minutes silence could be the fault of the PA guy, the announcement is usually it starts and ends with the referee's whistle and he just said the bit about it ending.

Impressive performance, the win against Wednesday was a fighting performance by a team scraping at the bottom but today was a class up. Henry is a proper pro, helped one of theirs out during that tetchy spell.

More a case of Parky losing Karacan and Cullen and replacing them with 2nd Div midfield players.

The last time either of those started was the last time we got beat

Thought Robinson had a v poor first half to be honest

Let's not forget a few wanted alnwick dropping, too

As for Robinson he's not the best on the ball and probably gets caught out a bit much but he can do a job

Similar to Gardner, he's fast and works very hard to put mistakes right

His distribution is terrible.

His distribution is terrible.

He's only played 7 first team games in his entire career. He's doing alright for me. Particularly given the fact he's got Armstrong in front of him.

Ameobi and Little look like a cracking pair on the other flank BTW.

I'm not convinced with him in the slightest but time will tell

A fit Taylor starts over him every time for me

Little is getting better mind

Amazing how tactics are better when we have better players, eh

Henry, Amobi and Vela have well improved us as a side.

But the tactics were on point, in other matches we have sat way too back and allowed them to get in behind.

Today we pressured them once they tried getting past the half way point.

I'd say the nob playing records for about 5 minutes while the service was ready to go fucked it up. The ref at our game was aware of the time passing by for a 15.00 KO. The club could easily have had the service two minutes earlier.

Little and Ameobi had their left back and left mid on toast back end of first half, no surprise their manager changed shape at h/t. Little had a cracking game.

Vela got through incredible amount of selfless work when we were (often) without the ball.

Madine gave their two centre backs more and more trouble as game went on, the no6 who rugby tackled him second half in particular.

Henry a big asset, does all the dirty work, sensible on ball and doesn't waste it often.

All about what you do with the ball not how much of it you have, they thought they were City or Barca first half, pitter pattering it about at the back while we stood off them, as soon as we got a little bit of a head of steam up they got flustered and folded. Ironic that their best chance before their goal came from a hoof down the middle. Didn't think they were very good at all but we were and that's the main thing.

We're back in touch, in the mix and have hope. A good Saturday night
