Moderators Casino Posted June 7, 2018 Moderators Share Posted June 7, 2018 (edited) It was difficult to buy bolton kits when I was a youngster but tobutts did a white shirt and black shorts number round about 72 Don't think I ever saw us play in white and black but the shorts were darker than more recent offerings I like white and black Don't see many kits like that Was it to do with referees On another note, the same year as that mustard sports bra monstrosity, we didn't even have a white home shirt You can only hope heads rolled for killing reebok as a football brand Edited June 7, 2018 by Casino

frank_spencer
Navy blue for as long asAye apart from post war and early 1900's it's been white and blue.Leave white and black to Derby, Swansea and Nob End Edited June 7, 2018 by frank_spencer
Moderators Carlos Posted June 7, 2018 Moderators Share Posted June 7, 2018 When I first started watching the Wanderers, it was always black and white scarves, then after the kit change in 69/70 it was an all white scarf with two little red bands along it. Navy blue and white scarfs kicked in about 72/73. Someone was telling me about the white and red scarf last night!
Lostock Whites
We should play our home games in all white. Also hoping for a dark red away kit.

jules_darby
I’d love us to get that gingham check again for aways like the matchwinner early 90’s away kit That was class. And very different!
enzo gambaro
Best away kit was the British Racing Green number, fantastic with a pair of jeansIt was teal!

Iconic mate that was. If the club had a brain and wanted extra revenue surely they would bring it back as I’m sure it would appeal to both old and new with a lot of us older non replica shirts fans actually wearing it

frank_spencer
I suppose we will soon see.Wouldn't mind a black kit. If its nice I may actually have a wanderers shirt in my collection more recent than the adidas 'inter milan' away kit.

Leyther_Matt
Like it. Not enough to pay £48 for it to never wear it, but I look forward to playing ‘shirt discount roulette’ come April.
Eavesy
Will it look good with jeans? (Is the usual statement)
Lostock Whites
They could have made more effort with the reveal. Why not zoom in on the stripes more. Most people can hardly notice them.
Naytch
The RBK home top from 2008ish was good back when I was 8 stone. My favourite home shirt, easily.
Marc505
My favourite home shirt, easily. I really like the first home kit Macron did for us, showed they'd put a bit of thought into it and is probably a less imposing sponsor's logo away from being a cult classic in years to come. Sweep
I wonder how many replica kits/shirts we do actually sell, globally, over a year? 1000 kids and 500 adults maybe?
