I feel a bit dirty for saying this..

Obviously It needs fine tuning but I think it's winning me over.

If we had lost to Colombia, It would have been slagged off for years and years, it seems to be against us, two penalties not given vs Tunisia too, needs to be perfect, the Iran penalty vs Portugal was a farce too.

Overall it's good though.

Wait until you've lost it to a last minute winner from Kane. Then it goes upstairs. I suppose its just another variation of a late offside flag. But all the same, I'm still not a fan.

Their lad shout have seen red for the headbutt but var said yellow.

With 10 men they'd not have got extra time.

We'd therefore be fresher for Saturday.

See, my excuse, should we go out is already in place.

It's a fair point.

I like it as an idea but it needs a fair few runs with a hot iron before it's reet.

A WC was not the place for a test run

Wait til you are in the stadium and it fucks you over.

I've been in plenty grounds were no VAR has fcuked me over

It's almost as though what we have now is faultless when actually is riddled with incompetence and/or dodginess

Sorry, I thought it was just the premier league using var.

If it's football league as well then you're probably right. It will cost too much.

Thought prem had voted against using it before World Cup started. May be wrong though?

Would Walters assault goal on Bogdan have counted?

DEfinitely not and neither would Crouchs dive from outside the box be given as a penalty - all would still have been rosy at BWFC

But QPR's goal against us a few weeks earlier would have stood?

But then again if it had been in place for years, Taggart's goal v Everton would have stood and we'd have been in Premier League for over 20 years now, probably winning it a few times along the way.

I think it’s got more right than wrong

Got a big call wrong tonight in the World Cup QF

Doesn’t get much bigger than that

If that’s the case fuck it off

It’s not worth all the bollocks

Var - technology seems bang on

Technology with the same old nob heads using it doesn't work.

Goal line technology works because its black and white.

Anything subjective just needs some little Hitler twat in a room to fuck a game over.

It's a no from me but I'll admit it has made this world Cup interesting.

I didn’t think it was a penalty. I thoughtf Jesus stepped on Kompany and fell over when the action was all but over with.

Kompany’s studs on his shin whilst the ball was in play
