I reckon Holden would have probably been sold (the £4.5m as BWFC standard!!) if he'd carried on playing at the level he had and not got injured. And you know what, I stand by it, at the time he was a better player so who knows what he could have done. Likely wouldn't have been with us much longer though, but then again would we be where we are now had his injury not happened? Mate, I get that you liked Holden. But Modric was always utterly brilliant, proper top top drawer and looked it with spurs. He was lnked away to massive clubs every season. Holden only really played the one season for us 2010-11, which was the same season as Chelsea tried to sign Modric from Spurs for aout £25M wasn't it?
