Simon Jordan tweet; not my favourite person but nails it for me;

Players at #bwfc not playing is inexcusable, they are secured creditors and will ALWAYS end up being paid albeit late which is of course wrong .The ownership situation and conduct is appalling ... but these players should have played in this instance for their fans

But it's ok for him; he's not in a job where he isn't being paid.

FC Wanderers of Bolton?

Makes you wonder - if the unthinkable happens... Who is going to organise a splinter club? God help us if it's the supporters trust.

As a fanbase, we're not exactly unified right now, let alone if it came to liquidation.

Honestly think it'd take so long to get anything agreed and organised that everyone will have found something else to do with their lives by the time they decided even what part of town go play in.

And they still haven't been paid

And the fans have been let down

They can get fcuked

If the club genuinely has no money, then it should have been admin ages ago.

You've raised the point on more than one occasion about there being no money, and rightly so (there may be questions as to where it's gone, but that's a different matter)

Can't go on forever in that mode - unfair to all employees.

My hatred for gartside has gone up to a new level

Anewman was right all along

It's that simple.

The overspending, devil-may-care attitude to spending back in in the early 2,000's has come home to roost.

Anderson has been a dick, but the damage was done way before he got involved. He was simply a vulture picking at the bones left by Gartside.

J was right.

Difference for me is that PG had a wealthy benefactor underwriting the losses. Everything PG spunked ED wrote off the day he sold to Ken and Deano for £1. The debt was gone

In Ken’s defence I appreciate its most likely impossible to operate our club in league 1 with our current ground & Lostock. But then again he has had a few transfer windfalls to help prop that solitary season up. We can however operate at Championship level without going bust, granted we wouldn’t be ‘competitive’ though, much like we aren’t now

Fair points, but Anderson has dragged our name through the mud like no other "Chairman" in our history.

Which other BWFC chairman has had numerous winding up orders?, failed to pay players and none playing staffs wages?, failed to pay HMRC obligations?

Which chairman loaned a player from another club with promises to pay for for him at the end of the loan deal, knowing full well that we never had the funds nor the intention to buy the player?

One man and  one man only - Ken the cunt.

Although there wasn’t a debt, the liabilities were pretty sizeable with the contracts that there were there - on and off the pitch - so it was always going to quickly build back up, albeit not to anything like the previous levels but not sustainable all the same.

Where they though? I thought most of the big contracts expired in June 2016 at the end of that championship season

don’t forget, our income in 2015 / 2016 included parachute money so of course the outgoings were a lot bigger

As a % of turnover wages will be worse under Ken than PG

Nah

ED wrote the debt off

Granted there were players still on high wages but they weren't renewed and we've brought in £13m in transfer fees in the last 3 years

There's more going out than coming in this season but that's on KAs watch on deals he made

He's the one who hasn't paid the bills/wages and he's been bailed out more than once

If there's more money going out than coming in these days it's cock all to do with PG

Fair points

but to pin this entire situation solely on KA would be naive

He’s made it worse when he said he’d make it better, but it was shite to start with

Amos and Mark Davies are the obvious ones but Dervite, Derik, Pratley, Spearing, Wheater, Le Fondre and Madine would have been on a decent wedge; even Moxey seemed to be on quite a bit. And if nothing else we’ve had a big turnover in players which although wouldn’t necessarily mean a big wage individually, it would mount up collectively as would the signing on fees and potentially agent fees.
