So far then, creativity, reading, exercise, distraction and music. Any more?

Radio is my main distraction. I spend a good proportion of my working week outside alone. When your cleaning a giant block of flats for 4 hours straight your mind is free to wander.

Buying a pocket DAB Radio has saved my brain eating itself. Talksport for a good 18 hours a day 🤣

I find being on my own a pain, radio makes it worse somehow, although that might just be bbc r2

The wifes like that, which is unfortunate because although i consider myself a ‘people person’ i’m just as happy spending time on my own.

Every time I turn radio two on there's always some bellend on a phone in moaning about something that really doesn't matter.

I occasionally go sea fishing off Angle. My mates got a shitty little boat that terrifies me.

I'll Go to the beach most days to walk the dog. Less so in summer when the tourists are about... usually choose a less know one. Manorbier today was deserted which I love.

I'll take me kid body boarding in the summer months, usually Tenby South... Whitesands when camping or Newgale.

Had mooch on Broadhaven yesterday morning with the Mrs. First time I've been for a few years. Nice breakfast in a seafront cafe then walked across to Little Haven.

How come you know this area Youri.... past holidays?

I did geology/geography many moons ago - so field trips. The walk down to Newgale is a belter. All there was was a cafe and a surf shop back then. I like Cornwall/Devon but I think the Pembrokeshire Coast beats it.

Me and another lad were in a pub on the front at Broadhaven once, watching Bolton on the telly and the landlord wordlessly came over and took the remote and switched it over to fucking Eastenders or sommat. Some of the Welsh have or had a real beef with the English, and indians born here and more of a pisspot/stoner than me (the other lad)).

We always got in the water to piss about, it's irresistible.

Masturbation

In one - wank yourself blind over anything with consenting adults, apart from gay porn - I find that a right turn-off, sometimes in tranny porn the tranny starts bumming the man, it's disgusting and confusing.

Fuck money - cut your cloth than fuck your mind.

I have the radio on all the time, or had. Boring as fuck, going round and round about whatever politics are en vogue. People angry as fuck at 1am. Feels good to just switch it off.

I've found the Welsh that can't speak Welsh have more of a issue with the English. Down here anyway. Probably different in the North.

Most do when it comes to sport and will be happy as long as England don't win... especially in the rugby which couldn't give a toss about.

Went in to one school that was giving me shit before the 6 nations a few years back. England won so a few White boards got a big red coss slapped on them in the morning before the teachers arrived.

I fucked up by using a marker pen on a smartboard in a former life, no fucker told me - and bleach just made it worse, someone else, hadn't told me it had been changed and the whiteboard markers had got mixed up with permanent ones, I'd, no this other bloke had been abusing Ecstasy the entire weekend so wasn't compus on the Monday, I, I mean he wasn't a very good educator. Not me.

I used to go out with a Welsh girl when I was a teenager. Her dad owned the riding stables at Abersoch. She often spoke about Welsh being the first language for North Wales but second language for South Wales with Mid-Wales pleasing themselves.

Yeah pretty much. Give it 20 years and they'll be a lot more speaking Welsh in the south. Welsh government has pumped loads of money in to Welsh schools. There're popping up all over the place.

I saw an art film once with some Welsh girl entertaing about six or seven black geezers in an L.A. sex shop, after the release at the end she moaned about the fact there was no shower, so just rubbed it in and got dressed and they all went out to eat, her covered in human moisturiser under her clothes, the dirty mare.

Edit: Her name is Lexi Lowe and the production company was Dogfart, she used to be a civil servant until she decided to make her hobby of getting nobbed by multiple blokes into a career.

It's not for everyone but not drinking helps enormously. Makes you more likely to do other good things, like exercise, too.

Watch what you eat too comfort eating is bad news.

Cooking.

I'm not great but normally finish work 8 or 9 ish and knock up something. Been nice since the commute has ended to switch off and leave the day behind.

Listen to some tunes. Very pleasant.

I find cooking very therapeutic. Just need to avoid supping a couple of glasses of wine while I'm doing it 😁

Thank you, I think these are really good contributions. Link in well with the other suggestions.
