In this instance he did fail.

If some bloke came up to my 15 years old daughter and told her she had amazing tits ... I wouldn't laugh it off.

That's because you weren't there, you weren't aware of the context nor how it was taken by my daughter.

Oh, and because you're a bit of a reactionary dick.

It’s all about context silly 🙄

@London Wanderer we were told our daughter was 99% a miscarriage at the 5 month mark, nurse genuinely said (and I quote because it’ll live with me to the grave ) “it’s a million to one chance of survival”

she turns 12 next month.

Life is extraordinarily resilient mate, everything crossed for you.

Got a bit dusty round here

I do. He’s currently in neo natal care with a long battle ahead just to make it to due date.

I’m not sticking up for anyone, he plays the muppet on here sometimes, just like me & you do. But I’m sure he’s a good Dad who does his best by his kids (like you do I’m sure). It’s odd you think you’re capable of knowing otherwise.

fingers and everything else cross for your little one, mrs and yourself

reminds me of this, written about a similar situation and the little one is perfectly fine now

That little hand. Good Lord that’s amazing to see. Reducing a grumpy owd lad to mush that.

Nothing more important mate. Sending positive vibes.

Thanks for the messages gents.

What a journey for you @Spider. You must really appreciate those simple moments with her even more. All I want is to see the wee guy playing with his cousins and family with a smile on his face.

Just spent the nicest 3 hours by his incubator after not being able to see him yesterday. He’s settled today & making good progess. It’s a bloody rollercoaster though & we’re in the ‘extremely premature’ category with him born at 24 weeks & 5 days. He’s a little warrior though.

Hand hugs with his Dad this morning, if you can make out his tiny hand.

& how fckn brilliant is the NHS 💙

Similarly my lad and missus were both in intensive care after he was born 5 weeks early. I went home not knowing if they'd both be alive when I wake up. Thanks to the superstars at Bolton Royal they both came through unscathed and he turns 13 at the end of the month.

Sending positive vibes your way @London Wanderer

There are only so many David Attenborough documentaries you can watch though.
