I take it you’ve no issue with any of the demonstrations in Manchester today?

If they're smashing stuff up and attacking people, then obviously I'd "have an issue" with them.

“Can only suspect someone may be carrying” 😂 as a bloke is stood there 2m from him with a weapon

Yeah he looks really threatening. 🙄

I don't necessarily agree with this either btw but do we know if it worked in this specific situation?

But the way you screech about minor stuff like this then dismiss the wankers trashing our towns and cities seems very odd.

You're surely just on the wind up now. What did you expect him to do in front of a copper/liason guy.

Going off the videos doing the rounds from the same town I’d say no but obviously that’s a guess.

Glad gangs of blokes roaming the streets with swords and bats is only minor, do you live in Syria?? And I haven’t dismissed any of those other idiots smashing towns up.

I think the government need to go very hard on this, against both "sides" who are protesting. As soon as anybody steps out of line, get them arrested, and straight away two weeks in a cell, no trial, just straight to prison. If you're arrested incorrectly, then tough shit. The best way to avoid that, is to stay at home. Any tinderbox type areas, like Stoke and Sunderland seem to be at present, get a curfew in place. If you're caught outside without a legitimate reason (after curfew), then straight to a cell, for two weeks, no trial.

Watercannons and Cattle Prods required

I still think AI sentencing should be explored for cut and dry cases such as this and carrying a knife so as not to tie up the Courts... "Alexa, send the fkkr down". I believe Rubber Bullets can also be pretty effective.

PS.. the MoJ do seem to be "clamping down" after the election, I have to sign up to certain rules to work in prisons and their like and we've all had a round-robin warning letter reminding us of what we've signed and what the penalties can be... things appear to be changing at the workface as well.

Maybe a difficult thing just to lift and lock someone up just for protesting. That would be a legal and potentially a very costly exercise.

Some sort of emergency legislation/curfew would be required, such than anyone being out at a given time can be lifted.

At that point, there may be insufficient police numbers to manage it, so maybe a military presence would be required.

Nobody needs to be arrested for protesting. It’s those who are causing criminal damage, fighting, inciting violence and attacking police and property. That’s not protest it’s just disorder and against existing laws.

Trouble is, using soldiers could be sleepwalking into a Bloody Sunday situation... we've had summer riots for ever but this time we have social media it's all a bit more organised.

That Tommy Robinson bloke seems to be like a Hamas leader, stirring things up from the safety of a hotel in some hate state... maybe we should recruit Mossad to Drone the c***t

Maybe I missed something but I thought Robinson had been arrested to prevent him escaping abroad. What happened?

He got bailed, then fled the country before his court appearance.

Ah right I see. A good example of two tier policing there.

It also gives him a great photo op when he returns and gets arrested at Arrivals.

Probably a better example of our pathetic borders.

They don't check the leavers as thoroughly as the arrivals.  I'm sure Tommeh approves!

And if they aren’t?
