Eavesy Posted October 15 Posted October 15 Walsall away 2016. That 1-0 loss was prime Phil Parkinson. Quote

freds dad Posted October 15 Posted October 15 Walsall away in Sept 2006 was when the Panorama story broke about Allardyce taking bungs to sign players. Also Anelka’s first goal for the club. Quote

That's my only visit too, one of many that season we took loads to and lost 1-0. Also realised when I got home that the wall at the front I'd been leaning on most of the game must have only just been repainted white, as I had an unwashable stripe across the front of a brand new top! Micheal Johansen sulking on the touchline with our fans chanting his name. A good portion with Big Sam out at the end too. Pissed it down Quote
L/H White Posted October 15 Posted October 15 been once, think we supped in some club connected the ground? don't remember much else about it Quote

Site Supporter desperado Posted October 15 Site Supporter Posted October 15 I went to the 2016 and the 2000 one, both poor experiences. But both results meant little in the bigger scheme of things. Also did the 2006 one, great to see Anelka get his first one. Quote

Ridiculous but didn’t change anything tbh, we were just shit throughout. Quote

Leyther_Matt Posted October 18 Posted October 18 Hadn’t realised there are no FA Cup replays this year, even for the first round. So might have to factor extra time in to Walsall trains! Quote
Leyther_Matt Posted October 18 Posted October 18 A very reasonable £21.75 return with Railcard from Wigan. Feels like ages since a ‘proper’ 3pm away day and it’s at a ground even further from a town centre than ours is 😂 Quote
