As I have predicted for ages. Effectively playing 'quarters'. It'll be bigger nets next. Then banning draws. We shouldn't let non-footballing nations run World Cups no matter what money they bring. In fact LESS money would help the sport recentre itself. Quote

We shouldn't let America run the 'soccer' world cup anyway. It will be two points for acorner and five for a goal. We'll have 9-7 wins every four hours. The new length of a match. They don't like one - zero score liness them crackpots. Quote

Just scandalous on every level isn't it. People saying stadiums will be half full, but they won't be. Fifa knows people will pay it, they know they could charge England or Scotland fans 5k a game and they'd still turn up, because that's what they do. Completely taking advantage of fan loyalty. Quote

I know it's not likely but I'd love the Mexico and Canada games to be full but those in the US to have loads of empty seats. Quote

I am not so sure, the prices are so extreme I can see plenty of empty seats. Iran v New Zealand , Austria v Jordan ante anmong the less attractive games. Uzbekistan , Curacao and Cape Verde won’t be bringing many and once the first tier cheaper tickets go the price rocket. Saw a post on Facebook where an England fan is planning to go with missus and 3 kids I think travelling round as cheap as possible and cheap hotels and it will cost getting on for £50k if they go to all the games. He will be delighted two child cap has been raised. Quote

Cheap ale, big screens in town centres, great atmosphere. FIFA can fucking well jam it. Quote
