They'll be doing the pre-match press conference about now - Generally give Bolton news, ither local rags enough time to get it to press for Friday morning, before uploading it to media on a Friday. In other words, we should have team news by this afternoon/evening

I remember Bodcan, think it was a 4 pint Boddingtons, might be wrong but it was long before the days of the widget.

Incidentally, when the "widget" first came out circa 1990 4 cans of boddingtons draught was very expensive for the time, probably around £4.

These days even though its not as good you can get a 10 pack for £7 sometimes.

19:28 to Wigan cancelled already 🙃

Never understood why you don’t go via Runcorn to avoid these daft cancellations

Shame that Burstow’s got a niggle. He’s been scoring goals on a regular basis.

However, just got the feeling that SS doesn’t have confidence in him starting.

Does he go with Dalby, who’s a different style or Forss, who has a bit more flexibility?

Big call.

Last pint of Boddies that I bought on the day before decimalisation was 1/10 d. 8 new pence. Lovely head on it too with a sparkler on the taps.

Last pint of Boddies I had was in the Cross Guns in Egerton , was Glorious . the Landlord was from Blackburn and I saw him in a "nightclub" in Mill Hill , which was rough as fuck . Egerton was on the drive home from Burnden , was full of Wanderers and some proper characters , IIRC a lad called Daz who had a barbers shop on a main road in Bolton , a stockey lad with curly hair called Bodey and a truck driver called Ivan that everyone seemed to be scared of but was a really nice fella .

Think the landlord got booted for something dodgy and everyone seemed to move down to the Globe .

Next thing I know Boddies had been watered down to about 3.4% and was never drunk again . Shame really .

Did Ivan drive for TNT in mid 80s?
