If we lose to Swindon and Peterboro lose to Barnsley will play Pboro on 3rd round day

I’m confused (easily done TBF) but why were there only 10 games originally scheduled for Saturday? 
Had eg Cardiff who have only played 14 already pulled out?

They were supposed to play Huddersfield but was called off a couple of weeks ago. Not sure why it isn’t listed as postponed on any of the fixture list feeds unless it’s because it was so long ago that it was called off (and whichever the other missing game is)

It’s not difficult. He’s away with the NI squad. Didn’t make the bench tonight but he is in Slovakia as part of the squad and will be in the squad for Monday’s night match in Belfast.

Teams do take more players than can be part of the starting XI and bench, in case players get ill or injured in training. We do the same when we’re at home, never mind travelling to Eastern Europe.

Doesn't matter what we think, there are a set of rules by which clubs have to adhere- releasing players for international duty is one of them.

By means of compensation, clubs can call a game off if they lose a few.

Quite simple really. 

Of course both clubs could agree to play a game regardless, so if they don't then surely they're ones creating the load of wank.

Let’s hope you are right - it’s a reasonable explanation.

But It is a fall from grace mind to be the starting CB v Germany in one squad, to the bench the next squad, to be omitted from the 23.

Especially when IMO his Bolton form recently has been arguably his best form since he’s been with us.

He was dropped after gifting Germany the first goal and hasn’t started since. Somebody said he has a hip injury and that’s why he wasn’t even on the bench; that’s twice he will come back injured if that is the case
